Think Kisnorbo may have come close ….
Haddock a bit longer than 20 years mind. Getting old
Can I throw in to the mix Harry Kewell and Alan Smith. Doesn't take much. Heroes both of them but where are they now?
kebab
I was only little when Haddock was playing, but yes, he’s one.
With paddy, I never really got him, but i’d be in the minority so yes
Jeez Els That’ll light some fires.
Alioski maybe, gradel, snoddy
Unless haddock is radebe I fail to understand how the the kaiser chief is not on your list lads.
Ah here, not even a Bowyer mention or Harte.
Do you not remember the la Coruna win.
Had Harte for first goalscorer @11/1.

i really liked harry kewell. sometimes its better to not know anything about a player but going to turkey is kind of hard to ignore.
no shortage of Bielsa boys for me. pablo, alioski, klich.
Thinking back to 2000-2004, in retrospect not any of those very talented players I think that fondly of apart from Bowyer and Radebe, Kelly was a steady player for us too, maybe fits as cult hero due to his work rate and games played.
My childhood hero’s were Chapman, Speed, Batty, Gary Mac and strachan.
Terry Connor - loved his physicality and a black guy playing at height of racism
Aidan Butterworth - was at first matches I went to and now friends today
Baird - no nonsense
Day - liked him at West Ham, adopted Yorkshireman!
Vinnie - knew how to engage with the fans
Huggy - What Llorente should be!
Batty
Shutt - debut hattrick v Bournemouth and goal at Chelsea day after my father died.
Kamara - marked Tony Daley to of game on Prem debut
Kisnorbo - you'll never beat Kisnorbo
Beckford - iconic
Doyle - dont know why, but really liked him for us
Berardi
Klich
Speed and Batty for me also. I was at Leeds Uni while
that team was on the rise. Those two were great players
and lads. Going to ER was mad back then. Old division
2 promotion to old division 1 champs.
We've had our fair share of cult heroes.

Lower league icon. Dragged us outta that hell hole.
Kisnorbo was another I really liked
Lots of cult heroes already mentioned and it's hard not to put Vinny at the top of the list but others I have fond memories of that I think fill the LUFC cult criteria are:
Mel Sterland
Carl Shutt
Noel Whelan
Michael Bridges
Tommy Wright
John Sheridan
Brendon Ormsby
Frank Worthington
Tony Currie
Alioski for me. Could run all day, inspire others and made games interesting with his attacking/goal scoring and the way he sometimes went AWOL when defending!
Dallas is another call for me.
Sam Sodje wasn't with us long enough. Played about 10 games but was friggin immense, plus he dislocated a shoulder during the game and popped it back in.
Lots of colourful characters down the years.
No mention of Tony Yeboah!
