Shaw has been good filling in at CB but we’ve missed him on the left.

Was wondering the same thing. Seems over cautious to me. It means we'll be going into the City game without Varane and Martinez having started together in months. Unless they start against Charlton, which will be no kind of preparation for City anyway. Doesn't bode well

Iv all the sports channels, but it's nice to watch on terrestrial TV now and again. Goes it a sense of occasion, like the old days.

all the starters probably rest during the Charlton match

City have 2 matches before the Derby as well, so we should be the fresher team

It really is the end for Maguire

Yeah I just worry about Shaw picking up injuries.

Plus we could do with playing the likes of Lindelof and Maguire into some kind of form. Especially alongside one of Varane or Martinez, to get a bit of chemistry.

Bit surprised to see Shaw there with 3 CBs at the back. I wonder if he has him in mind there for Barca?

With five subs I suppose it is easier to give players more game time and I'd hope to see Martinez have some good minutes these next few games. Perhaps he's breached some club rule on lateness hence being a sub?
