Play the first team as much as possible
Play Rod upfront - 10 goals so far, let him have a chance for more, if he could get 20-30 on all conpa that would be amazing for him.
Start the new lad.
Evening all๐.
Well then … yep, I’m going for a win, but we (nearly) always concede, so it’s 1-4 for me. Jack screamer (gotta happen sometime๐) and a Rod hat-trick.
Oh, and yes I agree completely High - looking for revenge for previous!๐๐
Forest beaten 4-1 away at Blackpool. Gotta take this seriously and restore some pride. Out cup record is nothing short of embarrassing, and it has to improve , starting tomorrow. 2-2 and a replay is my prediction.
Agree with Matty on all 3 points
Wober has to start.
And if he does, will be interesting to see if he's the LB.
Or, if he replaces one of the current CBs.
Really hoping Bamford's out until after the transfer
window. Otherwise, our hierarchy will opt to not buy
a much needed striker option. We all know PB will
breakdown again.
Feel for Bamford as he must be frustrated as hell but we have spent too long now waiting for him to get back and not bringing you a replacement. This should have been anticipated and planned for in the summer if they had any sort of lessons learnt type exercise after last seasons' near miss..The fact it wasn't is very poor and feels like we operate on a wing and a prayer.
Paddy, sadly, is yesterday’s man. Everyone needs to move on.
Just watching the Wendies and the Barcodes
We really don't want Wood back
Newcastle and Forest gone to lower league teams. Who’s next? We get dumped more often than Jennifer Aniston. 2-0 Cardiff.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
National league Wrexham beat Championship Coventry 4-3 away from home.
Chelsea or City going out tomorrow and hopefully Wolves dump out Liverpool.
I hate making loads of changes for cup games.
We always make too many, we always go out, we always then struggle for forum in league.
People can say till they're blue in teh face that makes no difference to league, but it does, every time.
Who needs what?
Gelhardt needs minutes. Marsch say he wishes he played more minutes, well guess what Marsch, who decides that? You. Stop giving him just 4 minutes at end of match.
Drameh needs match time.
Firpo needs match time.
Now, I think Firpo is a liability, so, if he's going to play, I would play him from start, so if he's playing bad we can change it.
On other side I would start with Ayling to build fitness with plan to bring on Drameh, if comfortable with 20 mins to go.
Koch and Cooper keep as is, maybe scope for Wober to come on if we're comfortable and by that I mean 2 goal lead at least with 15 mins to go. Anything less or more time, its just not safe enough.
I would starting with Rodrigo, up top. I would look to bring Gelhardt on, with 20 mins to go.
Summerville and Gnonto seem to work really well together, have them both on pitch at same time.
Aarosnson needs a rest.
Should be winning this one.
Why don’t we bring on Llorente as well, Jonty, and give Cardiff a proper chance? After all, 2023 is the 50th anniversary of our biggest FA cup upset of all time, so let’s commemorate the event in style.

I find giving him an extended contract one of the most bizarre decisions we've made in recent years.

More bizarre than giving Bamford an extended contract? He almost fell over his zimmerframe when they offered it to him.
We’ve just had a 6 week break, no need to be resting anyone…full strength I say.
I think Aronsson needs resting for his own good
Romano reporting we are in advanced talks with Georginio Rutter 20 years old striker from Hoffenheim. Only scored two goals this season ๐ค

Not much good coming from him at the moment. Don't know if he needs resting as much as benching .

After his goal costing error the other night the last thing he needs is dropping. His head dropped massively after that error and I think, whilst he could do with a rest, he needs an arm around his shoulder right now.
I would be starting a strong team with a view to change things at HT. Let the lads have a go at Cardiff and then bring in some fringe players second half.
In all probability we will start with fringe players and have the big guns on the bench. Always dangerous imo.
I can see us going out here as Cardiff will want our scalp even though we are no big fish now.
Heart says 1-3 to us.
Head says 2-0 Cardiff.
Think Llorente will start and possibly Greenwood. I think the writing is on the wall for Firpo so expect him not starting and gone soon
Rutter (if it goes through) seems like it’s coming from that investment pot they had for CDK and gakpo. More about turning a future profit than helping the team right now... though ideally it’s both.
Like most I imagine, I knew nothing about the lad til yesterday… Not many 20 year olds have bags of senior goals behind him… so how much can he help us now? Open to debate. Looking at his attributes, especially his ball carrying, he does fit the bill as the type of striker we need (well, minus the goals )
People will certainly question with our league position whether we should be focussing on the here and now… but looks to me we’re following an agreed business plan investment policy with this one.

Making an error is not a reason to drop someone but being ineffective for quite a long period is. Should be going all out here.
