I know it’s league cup - I just like reminding weekend of how stupid he is.
Do you think given your league position that the manager will go for this or will he rest a few?
Yesterday Wolves played largely a reserve team and got a draw at Liverpool. Forest played largely a reserve team and got thrashed at Blackpool. I’d have thought Semedo, Kilman, Bueno, Nunes and Moutinho will start for us but it could be any 3 from a few up front with Jimenez, Cunha, Costa, Adama, Hwang, Guedes and Ait Nouri all in contention

I just wonder if Forest will go for it, they are a different proposition at home with the crowd behind them
comment by StrikeMug7 - the thickest person you know - Bronze medal in a two horse race 2022 - Buy..Bellingham and another mid 20s Thiago type...lets just call him "a khunt”
Identifies a match as a proper six pointer……..
then predicts a draw
How’s about we let you win this and you let us win the league game April?
Deal
Saturday will have no relevance at all to Wednesdays cup tie, i have no doubt Cooper will want to win this one and will play a full strength eleven. Both teams have improved since the pretty pathetic affair at Molynieux earlier in the season, Wolves won 1-0 and Johnno missed a pen, that was probably the entire story of the match, a pretty dour affair all round. Wednesday will be an even contest and could potentially go all the way to pens, it would be great to win but not the end of our season if we lose, mainly because of the quality of the opposition waiting in the semi’s. My guess is 2-1 Forest. We have a couple of ex-Wolves players who would like to shine in MGW and Boly, hopefully both will play. Looking forward to a good game and a cracking atmosphere.
Good to see Boly finding a bit of form, he was a bit hit and miss for us after illness and injury over the last couple of years but a really classy player for us on his day.
I'd say that Wednesday is a bigger match than the Liverpool replay for us but league points have to be the priority. I hope we'll have enough come April to ensure survival but who knows.
I don’t doubt either team will field their strongest teams on Wednesday. That was the whole point of resting people at the weekend I would have thought. Both clubs are one match away from a money spinning two leg semi final so the club owners wouldn’t have it any other way.
Lembikisa has signed a new contract until 2026 after his promising recent first team games. Still only 19 and English born. Two full backs with great potential we have found in him and Bueno.
Not very long ago it looked like we were well covered in that department with Semedo, Jonny and Ait Nouri but these two kids could end up being our first choices ahead of those three
Tickets now on sale for the replay against Liverpool even though the date and time for the game has not yet been finalised
Wolves are evidently prepared to let Raul Jimenez leave this month as long as they are able to sign a new centre forward in January. They won’t be bringing Fabio back from Anderlecht this month but he scored against the Belgian champions at the weekend to maintain his record of about one goal every two games this season.
One player who will leave in January is Conor Ronan with plenty of interest from championship and Scottish premier league clubs
Off Topic:
I see Gareth Bale has announced his retirement from all football, paying great tributes to all those he has played with and been managed by. Never been a particular admirer of Bale, though undoubtedly a very talented footballer.
Compare his latter years, however, with those of Ronaldo who I appreciate has been an even better player. The way he has behaved has, in my opinion, been a disgrace.
Pretty much trashed everyone he has been associated with in recent times, and now moved to Saudi Arabia. Nothing wrong with that but let's be honest his best playing days are long gone. His parting shot is to announce, "magnanimously", that his "work in Europe is done". What a complete tawt.
Bale retired about 3 years ago 😆
Understand what you're saying there. My point was that he has bowed out gracefully, giving most of the effort he had left to the National Team that he loved, for a country who loved him.
Ronaldo can still play football quite well, but as a person does he have any admirers left?

Aren't Coventry one of the clubs interested? maybe a cheaky little 10m+ Ronan offer for Gykores may swing a deal
Do think Gyokeres would be a good signing
A friend of mine has done a lot of work with the Welsh national team in recent years and speaks highly of Bale as an individual, saying he’s one of the most genuine guys he’s met in football. As for Ronaldo he takes arrogance to a new level. No wonder he gets on well with Piers Morgan
Wolves are checking on the fitness of Podence today to see if he can make the Forest game. Moutinho and Costa have minor knocks but should be ok.
On the longer term injuries, Pedro Neto is expected to return to training in Feb, for Boubacar Traore it won’t be until March
Our old mate Robbie Keane might be taking a first step into management with speculation that he will take over at Portsmouth

Would probably get along nicely with our old mate in Florida!
Leeds interested in sighing Hwang in January. Their manager Jesse Marsch was manager of Leipzig when Hwang was there and evidently rates the player highly
