What are you on about? We got most of our signings in early in the Summer. Using Chelsea as an example of getting things right is pretty laughable

Not sure it’s fair to criticise Edu because of the actions of Todd Woodward.

While they've done some good work just look at where we are in the league questions do have to be asked, they failed last January and at the moment it looks like it's happening again. If there prepared to drop 60 million on Mudryk they could of afforded the loan fee and wages for Felix. I don't personally think they are that good at negotiating people will point to last summer with some of those deals but given it was Arteta did Guardiola really drive a hard bargain over Jesus and Zinchenko no he didn't I bet he wished he had of done now. Before that if I remember rightly a deal to get Ramsdale dragged on and on until it was done.

There's still time in the window but we are an Nketiah injury away from disaster, for a club in our position right now it's simply not good enough.

He became technical director in 2019 mate. How has 1 window where he signed two players that were desperate for moves away from their club and desperate to come work for their previous coach in Artets been any sort of credit to edu?

He's had to pay a release.clause to get Partey, paid $45 million for man city's back up striker with only a year left on his contract, gave Nkiteah who is a mid table championship striker at best $100k a week and has constantly been inept at selling any of our players. He's only been able to get rid of them by loaning them.or cancelling their contracts. An there's the obsession with targeting easy player profiles I.e Brazilian or Portuguese speaking players.

He's out of his depth and belongs in a different role.

Who cares about 2019? Our most recent window we got basically all our targets in early.

Again, Jesus and Zinchenko who were desperate for regualr playing time and open to a move away were not exactly the hardest of deals to get done.

What do you mean who cares about 2019. So.your logic is that he is only held accountable for the jesus and Zinchenko 🤣

I do believe he has a role at the club, just not negotiating transfers

Who says we have anyone coming in over the January window?

Arsenal have spent as much as anyone over the past decade. Certainly over the past 5 seasons.

Season after season of CL-level spending on a Europa-level budget. To the point of attracting interest from the FFP people.

What did you want edu to do here?

Edu has done a good job thus far.

Imagine doing an article so negative that even Bats calls you silly

You realise the selling club has a say in it right? If they know Chelsea are going to kick their door down waving a blank cheque then they'll play hardball with Arsenal until that happens. Unless you think successful negotiation is just paying whatever the other club asks for straight off the bat?

Who said this article was about the felux deal? It's about Edus performance since he's arrived. He hasn't been strong enough in this aspect

I mean you literally used the Felix deal as your example…
