Always a big mystery ( and irritation ) to me as to why Spurs are the only PL club where everyone is leaving or needs to be held onto.
Just about every segment on Sky Sports involves some non entity telling us Kane needs to go, or they need to hold onto Conte. Then the , well if they lose Son they are in trouble.
Then you come on places like here, and all we see are comments from people who know even less than the idiots on Sky, sprouting on about Kane leaving, or Kane needs to win this or that or he will walk.
Apart from the obvious Media narrative, coupled with the fans who continually fall for that narrative, everyone needs to understand how contractual law works.
Kane is under contract until 2024. Levy has the power and, put simply, Kane, or Son can't just walk away just because they want to. Levy needs to agree to it.
I am fairly sure Sky have a very expensive legal team, but chose to ignore the basic principles of law and continually go with the "let's keep theorising, but in a way that sounds like it will happen"
I mean, does it not occur to people that it is a bit strange that nobody is looking to move from any other team, according the the daily tittle tattle given out by the media ?
The like of Merson must be laughing his head off at this constant Spurs / Kane / Conte narrative. Some of which he personally has stoked up for obvious reasons.

It's a mystery to you as it's not true. All clubs apart from those with high wages and who compete for trophies have this. Liverpool were the same before competing for and winning several trophies(Coutinho, Suarez, Torres etc.)
There's always only two or three in the league when this is not the case. When you have a top player and he's not winning trophies then there will be at the very least speculation. This is not limited to Spurs.

I think the ship has sailed on Kane leaving Spurs. I don't see him going to Spain and he would only leave Spurs for City where he's guaranteed trophies. Only other clubs that could afford him are United, Chelsea and Newcastle and he'll not move to any of those clubs who have around about the same chances as Spurs for lifting trophies.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Probably agree there BUT adding Kanr to any of those clubs would certainly move them forward don't you think? throw in a few more signings that they could make and perhaps it changes their chances of winning something?
All guesswork to be fair and Harry might prefer to stay at Spurs anyway

Likewise Spurs signing a defence this summer would move Spurs closer. If Qatari investment comes in then the sky is the limit.
Outside of City it’s all just sideways moves in England

No doubt but I was only really surmising on any possible Kane move, personally can't even see him moving but if he were to...........
Chelsea are eyeing poch for manager, could he go to them 🤔
Wouldn’t be mad if Kane went to Madrid, any other PL team and he can fack off

When Kane ends this season with no honours again, he will be level with Murray Wallace on Millwall Young Player of the Year awards.
I think it will be difficult for him to walk away with that milestone in mind.

I can't see him leaving the PL, he has Shearer's prem goals record in his sights now.
You know for all our guesswork and assumption only really Kane and Spurs know what will happen, its fun to chat about it but it will be entirely down to them, just sometimes it must pash the fans off a tad not fully knowing whats going on?
It may all come down to the money.
100 Mil EU is Real's starting bid......
that will mean Levy has something like 200 Mil Eu in mind. If ENIC can get say 150 Mil EU for a 29 year old, they may well be tempted.
We all know ENIC, don't we.
And then, Harry has a say too. Maybe he'd like to win something worthwhile before he retires.
And the Real salary might be tempting too.
But as of this moment....its all rumor from the BBC.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
There is a narrative against Spurs but we do invite it, largely through lack of trophies and being Spursy over the years. If we got over the line and won something meaningful the narrative would change, but until then its Spurs also-rans, whose best players need to move to win stuff, whose owners aren't ambitious, who bottle the big moments.

Kane is worth so much more than the transfer fee. He is the England Captain, an icon, will be the Country's highest scorer in history, one of our own. The prestige this brings the club is immense, boosting our status and also commercially hugely beneficial.
We will not sell. Levy would not dare and you can see from the efforts around European clubs this summer, there aint that many decent strikers out there.
No chance Kane leaves now, Ace has hit the nail on the head he wants to hit that scoring record. Not sure trophies are as high on his agenda as personal achievements and loyalty.
The more I think about it, the more I think this will be Kane's last season with Spurs. I can't see him signing a new contract, he wants to win things and will realize he won't do that under ENIC. Levy will have no option but to sell or risk losing him for free.
I can see the likes of Penited & Chelsea being in for him, they may be sideways steps at the moment but they will back their manager and build a competitive squad.
We will be worse off if Kane does leave, I can't see Levy replacing his output adequately.

I just can't see it tbh. RM have been deliberately focusing on bringing through the next generation of players in their signings it seems. Vinicius, Rodrygo, Militao, Camavinga, Tchouameni and even that 'wonderkid' Endrick. I know they're picked up Alaba and Rudiger on frees who are older. Even Hazard was only 28 when Chelsea took them to the cleaners.
Paying a huge fee for Kane would seem a departure from their current strategy imo. Especially if the rumoured interest in Bellingham is true.
I think there was a window for Kane to move but I don't think he will now. One club man would be my guess and the EPL scoring record secured.

Kane could play for Madrid for the next 5 years and secure them titles, Benzema isn’t getting any younger and they need a world class striker to replace him, could see it happening.
