apple pie, humbled by a team managed by Nathan Jones

Why was Mahrez left on bench?
City will actually be relieved to be out.
League tied up already, only one goal this year and being absent from the Mickey Mouse comp will help them accomplish that goal.
I like this trophy but going out wasn't the problem. If we won it , we would be trophy padding anyway.

says the Spurs fan.. one league cup this century and no sign of silverware any time soon.... jeez
The first 45 minutes were as bad as a performance as I can remember and Southampton deserved to win.
Phillips was bought as a back up to Rodri but he has a long way to go to reach the standard needed. It is a big step up from Leeds but he isn't convincing me at the moment,
Foden and KDB are very out of touch but leaving Cancelo on when he couldn't even take a throw in properly was bewildering. He is so out of form he looks like a Sunday League player.
Pep needs a better plan than using Walker at CB to give Cancelo more game time if we are to deal with United at the weekend. Nobody played well but Cancelo was shockingly bad.
can we play u every week lol
Foden was the best player on the pitch, which game was the OP watching?
You need to invest some of your huge operating profits in the first team. It's been neglected for 18 months now.

One from last season I imagine
Credit to Southampton, they played well and that 2nd goal was mint. Wasnt helped by Cancelo. As for Foden, just out of form for me. Even Bernardo hasnt been great.
KDB should consider himself lucky to be playing first team football but We have to ride out this period.

Took nearly 6 hours to get home
2 hrs Kip and up for work
Really disappointed in the lack of effort
Don’t think they’ve any idea of the sacrifices made to support the side
In both the Chelsea prem game, and the Southampton game Pep has tinkered with the defensive line. In both games he’s had to change formations mid way through. Unfortunately too late at Southampton. What is he worried about? Over reliance on Rodri? Getting Phillips going? I think it may date back to the mugging we got off Brentford.
