Chelsea fans already want shot.

I find it strange as it’s unprecedented (yes that sewer word) levels of injury for Chelsea. Coupled with the worst squad they have had in years.

No manager is able to apply their strategy and methods without the personnel. Who knows maybe Jose will be back for a third stint
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’m of the thoughts that he’s been dealt a bad hand, but has also made so many catastrophic errors
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yea and also when he has adjusted the system to suit the players available, another gets injured or in last nights case carded.

But with all those injuries and suspensions, Toddy has looked at what’s left and thought “Right, the last thing the enemy will be expecting will be if I buy a 17th CB and a forward who doesn’t score many, they’ll never suspect and that’s why it will work”

Honestly, I reckon if Potter asked him for a new keeper, Boehly would spend £50m on Dele Alli

He’s just the wrong fit for Chelsea and always was. It was a daft appointment which he should have turned down.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Agreed, it’s possibly the most Ill fitting coupling I’ve ever seen - it would be like Ace and Maf suddenly being mates.

Chelsea are all about the short term, extravagance, instability, non sustainable, let them eat cake.

Graham is all about the long term, value for money, stability, sustainable, we can make this stretch.

I’m faaaacking loving this marriage of inconvenience though
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You think he'd get sacked?

It’s Maf, anything could happen

Irony is....Potter is doing a worse job with Chelsea than Nuno did with Spurs....but hey. Guess some managers get a privilege.

Not a fan of Nuno but it's interesting how he didn't get backed and was deemed inferior to Potter.

Guess it's all about perspectives.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Nuno was a terrible fit at Spurs and we knew it very quickly and did the right thing. The difference is that we didn’t sack a CL winning manager who had just finished third and got to 2 cup finals the season before in order to get Nuno in. Additionally, Nuno had the summer to work with the players and the outcome was the least hard working side in the league.

Not defending Nuno but he was sacked when we were 5 points off of top 4 and playing poor football. Conte has us 2 points off CL now but played a game extra so could realistically be 5 points off top 4, playing poor football

Big difference is Conte steered Spurs to CL in less then a season, and has them now in the last 16, and he also has had injuries to key players.

I liked Nuno and gave him my full respect, but Conte is clearly a better manager.

Exactly, Conte earned the breathing room last season with CL qualification. Spurs were 9th when Nuno went and had just been pumped 3-0 at home to United who were on the verge of sacking Ole. Additionally, we had put in a horrible performance in the NLD and he had clearly lost the dressing room.

I agree Conte has some breathing room. But our progress under him has been underwhelming.
Likely to be 5 points off top 4, same as Nuno. Just been beaten by Villa at home. Putting in horrible performances pretty much every single week.

Its not good enough to be honest and it's about time fans DEMAND alot more from this club.

We do, we’re demanding that the chairman buys the players that the manager actually wants, a novel idea these days.

I mean we’ve given a manager whose whole footballing philosophy revolves around wingbacks - the absolute worst wingbacks faaaacking going.

Conte didn’t fuss first season as there wasn’t enough time to sort out the squad in that first Jan - he got on with it and delivered CL football.

We then short changed him in the summer and look like we will do again this window. Yet we’re 2 points off third, won our CL group, through the first round of the FA cup and the 3rd highest goal scorers in the league.

Some fans think it’s Conte’s fault though

As much as Potter has been found out as a fraud it's compounded by having an owner that's off his head.

Boehly doesn't have the first clue about running a football team so no matter who they get they are in big trouble unless he realises and get someone else in to manage the football side of the business.

Chelsea have spend extraordinary amounts of money on schit players to end up with a lopsided squad.

Potters best chance of hanging on to his job is Boehly realising he will be getting the flack if he sacks him. An absolute basketcase club.

Literally 3 clubs in world football where he possibly couldn’t work out - Chelsea, PSG and Real and he ends up going to one

Something very strange about the way Boehly has handled things so far. It might just be though that he is the least suited billionaire to own a football club since Moshiri.

If the Chelsea fans start singing “you don’t know what you’re doing” the players, Potter and Boehly will all think it’s directed at them.

I don’t think that was a red yesterday. Obviously delighted it was given, but there was no malice in that challenge and he barely connected as tried to pull away at the last second.

I think hes a very good manager (as shown by jobs done at Brighton, Ostersund and ok job at Swansea) - who isn't suited to managing Chelsea.

I don't think what he has done makes him a bad manager, but also shows that as of right now he wouldn't be able to manage Chelsea, PSG or Real Madrid for example.

Nick is a top Chelsea fan. Nick you need to smoke Sheriff out, he’s an imposter. He ain’t Chelsea at all. He was a Pompey fan on bbc606.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I don’t know how the Chelsea lot can stand him. Rusty is the embodiment of everything people take the pizz out of the club for - as plastic as they come
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Never understood it. Let them off, clearly were not on the old 606.

Sheriff JW Pepper was a Portsmouth fan on BBC606 under the name of Sir Alan Knight. He had no affiliation with Chelsea at all. The guy is a joke and imposter. (And awful racist and homophobe)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You are a biggest crybaby on this forum Raptit

And also, you call everyone is a plastic when you don't live in this country let alone anywhere near Tottenham.
