Got to offer what does Struijk offer.
People seem to see him as the future of our defence but last season he was second best whenever he started alongside Cresswell in the U23's.
This week he started alongside Llorente in his preferred position at Centre Back and was responsible for the first goal, slow and half asleep.
Last night he showed himself, once again to be positionally unaware, couldn't see the danger despite Cooper pointing it out to him and you have to wonder about his communication.
Trully awful, if Llorente or Firpo made those sorts of errors they'd be pilloried.

I questioned Struijk and Llorente from teh beginning.

Llorente always just one Cruyff turn away from a disaster and Struijk just always seems the be teh defender left floundering when you see the he goals on teh replays and yet both rewarded with long term contracts.

I struggle to think of any premier league team that would covet either of them.
