Get Rid Now

you have to caveat that 1 just isn't going to happen is it. The only way you'd want him to stay is if he's given the funds which he won't be so what's the point.

Equally, keeping him until the season is over is pointless if he's defo not sticking around.

That was the flaw in my original poll. Ideally we'd want a proven winner with an endless pot of money but that's just not realistic. Any vote should really take into account how ENIC operate and whether that is diametrically opposed to everything Conte needs. I think it is so the only sensible option is 3.

Bear in mind a load of non-Spurs can vote on this and I'm sure they'd like nothing better than to see him continue to take us further downhill.

Fridgeboy, please stop complicating things and vote 3. You know my agenda here.

I've already voted.

My point is that the way the poll is styled will heavily favour Conte in because the option to make him stay also includes an unrealistic 'give him what he wants' pledge.

It should really say 'Conte in with realistic ENIC style funds' because that's what they're really voting for.

I'm really torn tbh.

It aint just Conte that's wrong right now but he's inflexibility and nonsense formations plus non committal approach aint helping no one.

I would rather Conte stayed and we continued to struggle if it means ENIC are called out for what they really are.

There is no point in changing the manager for a temporary uplift in performances, only to have the exact same problems in 12 months time, rinse and repeat.

I can live with poor results, ordinary football and slipping out of the top 4 if it means ENIC are called out. Ideally Conte stays and is backed, but if he leaves them I hope he lays it all bare and exposes ENIC for what they really are, which is businessmen with no desire to win silverware over making profits.

If it was me I would keep and back but how much I believe we'd actually do that is another matter and I don't have a lot of faith Conte will want to stick it out for the long haul anyway.

I don't know honestly. Kind of undecided, like the club seems to be.

Id keep him back him as well, if that fails get rid.

Now imagine you're a geordie and imagine that toxic atmosphere going on for 15 years before the club is sold on. That's exactly what happened to Newcastle. ENIC are under no obligation to sell so are you willing to wait 15 years for some happiness? I'm not.

Keep him, but if he wants to go then go for a manager like Frank at Brentford.

An absolutely no no though would to bring Pochettino back. That would be an absolutely recipe for disaster, and would mean players like Dier, Davies and Lloris seeing their careers out at Spurs.

I might add though if Conte stays, then he has to change his formation.

Happiness?, what winning fack all?, that`s not happiness, nor is playing pretty football and winning fack all. It`s misery all the way under ENIC, but we have a manager with a proven record of winning, so why not back him instead of constantly going around in circles.

Some fans are part of the problem, they are happy to just play some nice football while wining jack shiete. That is a losers mentality, the same mentality as our owners funnily enough.

"Why not back the proven winner" is absolutely spot on, except that Conte never stays anywhere more than 2-3 seasons. He's not going to change that pattern and stay at Spurs of all places, with Levy and ENIC, for the long term.

If Spurs had a proven winner who stays for long periods at clubs, then sure. Back him. But it's too late for Conte. He'll be gone inside a year come what may, so that ship has sailed. Backing him now would mean buying players for Conte's very specific, rigid system... That might not fit in the system of the next manager.

It's comical how badly ENIC have snarled up the whole setup. So much terrible, short-term decision-making.

I don’t understand why some supporters are still backing Conte. When has he ever shown you that he could make a difference to our club. You bang on about him being financially backed, he hasn’t done anything to show the owners he is the man to get behind. He hasn’t improved any player, in fact, he’s made most worse. He has adapted his tactic before or during games. He plays a formation that he doesn’t have the players for. This only playing in the second half is clearly his tactic. He moans about the players when we lose, and never blames himself. He has had his time in football, but football has evolved, he’s now finished

Maybe they were looking for a sale since the stadium has been built? Get a miracle manager in to win something then sell for a higher price. The ENIC way

Looking at the poll the NPCs and bots are out in full force.

And I don't mean real bots, I mean the fans that can't see that we have been through 4 cycles of this and it won't change unless the hierarchy back their manager!
