All I would say is that if the West Ham, Everton and potentially Chelsea job is up for grabs and Poch turns them all down it's because he's been told in no uncertain terms that the job at Spurs is his in the summer.
I can't imagine him joining Chelsea though. It would be unthinkable.
That said, I wouldn't be against taking Potter if he gets sacked by Chelsea.
You lot should go for Potter.
Even if you don't get him, it would make Chelsea re-sign him before inevitably sacking him.
Then Everton can sign him.
Presuming Chelsea don't re-re-sign him first.
Good luck Poch trying to turn Hojbjerg into prime Dembele and Sanchez into prime Vertonghen

Well he turned average Dembele into prime Dembele and average Vertonghen into prime Vertonghen so I've every faith he can improve the players we currently have.
Three ex-Chelsea managers for ourselves and Everton to sniff over. Maybe Conte will go to them, we'll get Potter, Lampard can go somewhere else to rebuild his career, then we can get him when we've finished chewing out Potter.

Biss Sarr Bents
He'd get the team purring again.
Can’t believe Lampard is still in a job, if they don’t sack him soon, he’ll take them down
Do you reckon Poch would be tempted by Everton or West Ham? Surely not.

Erm, he told Levy explicitly that there needed to be a “painful rebuild” and instead of getting backed, he got sacked, so I would suggest if he HAD of been backed we’d most likely be in an Arsenal type situation right now.
Best manager most of us have seen in our Spurs lifetime horribly let down, with Levy choosing instead to go after managers on their way down, instead of PROGRESSIVE managers on their way up.
Why are still playing that tired old counter attacking style is completely beyond me.

Poch was never backed in the same way Jose and Conte have been. Not over such a short period. If he came back, Levy would unquestionably give him more to spend this time. The stadium revenue has changed that.

No he didn`t, Dembele and Vertonghen were always top class, Hojbjerg and Sanchez will never reach their levels
The bizarre part is that this "it didn't work out with Poch last time" narrative shouldn't mean we should continuing driving on the wrong side of the road, backwards down a really, really boring country lane. It's almost like because we came so close but ultimately failed under Poch (through no fault of his own) we should keep going with this dull failed experiment. I get why some might be anti-Poch (although I find it hard to agree) but to prefer to keep Conte is just staggering. On what feckin grounds?

Well they still improved under Poch. Everyone did. That's my point. Name me one player that's improved under Conte. Just one. I'm not talking players he's signed but players already on our books. Kane is world class regardless of the manager and at a stretch you could say there's been a marginal improvement in Davies (mainly because he's not trying to be adventurous anymore). Kane, Son, Rose, Walker, Dembele, Dele. So many players imroved under Poch. Too many to mention.
