Because Jose was so unpopular Levy never got enough criticism for binning him off just days before the League Cup final.

Whatever folk think about his time with Spurs he led us to that final and deserved to be at the helm for the match. What difference would a few more days of made?

All these years on I still can't believe he sacked Jol at half time, so frighteningly unprofessional.

SSN just read out the statement from Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Trust about our fans concern of a lack of vision from the board for the direction of the club.

It’s only going to get worse before it gets better for us given the fixtures we have coming up, but atleast it seems the majority of fans know who the real faaacking bald khunting culprit is (not the one who wears a syrup) and the spotlight is very much on him - he won’t get away with just sacking the manager, the fans are wanting Levy gone from the footballing decisions at the club as he has been failing for at least a decade now.

Jan 17th, Conte still doesn’t have Pedro Porro because Levy is haggling over the fee of a guy with a £40m release clause - guys a khunt, if he was on here I would place him one rung above Maf

The rumours were Mourinho had a trophy bonus in his contract, so Levy sacked him before he had a chance to win one, thus saving Levy a few quid.

That tells us all about where Levy`s priorities lie.

After reading this I had to look up some of our previous managers , anyone remember Christian Gross , after leaving us he got a job at Basel .

He worked to rebuild Basel into the premier force in Swiss football and achieved greater success than when manager of Grasshopper.

Under Gross' guidance, Basel won four Swiss championships, four Swiss Cups, and mounted a fairytale run in the UEFA Champions League in the 2002–03 season, beating eventual finalists Juventus as well as knocking out Celtic and drawing with Liverpool (twice) and Manchester United. Gross' success in these games against British sides went a long way towards restoring his reputation among the British media and fans.[8] He took Basel on another European adventure three seasons later as they reached the quarter finals of the UEFA Cup in 2005–06, before bowing out to English side Middlesbrough 4–3 on aggregate despite leading 2–0 after the first leg at St. Jakob-Park.

On 17 May 2009, Gross was attacked by fans of Zürich on a tram after Basel defeated Zürich that day. He received no serious injuries.[20] On 27 May, he was sacked after ten years at the club.[21]

I heard that Levy felt that he couldn't/shouldn't sack him if we won so he got it done before the game just in case.

Either way is it any wonder we win fack all with that attitude coming down from the top.

There must have been some sort of bonus owed or contract renewal triggered for Jose if we won that League cup - no other explanation, our season was already faaacked, it was April, just see it out.

Jol was a weird one - didn’t we win that game 5-1 or something and yet he gets sacked at half time, crazy.

Hoddle was terrible, justified sacking. SantinI had home life problems and Graham despite winning the league cup was shiete for us in the league and as popular as Maf.

Ramos - Justified

Sacking Redknapp was bollox

AVB got us a record points total and missed out on CL by a single point - I believe that’s the second highest points total to not qualify for CL. Following Season we lost Bale and sacked AVB because some of the 7 signings he didn’t make weren’t immediate hits.

Sherwood - meh

Poch - please don’t come back Mauricio, not whilst the bald khunt is still here, you can do better. Hero

Jose - terrible hire, completely incompatible with our side and has set us back. Compounded the error by sacking him a week before the League cup final when we only had 6 league games left anyway

Nuno - Like Graham “Wizard” Potter at Chelsea, makes zero sense. Levy schitt his pants for the first time when the fans went ape after the United game.

No need to add anything mate, you know I totally agree with everything and have done for years. My amusement comes at the fact there are still Spurs supporters not getting it. Still fans who make excuses for this shambles.

To be fair, Billy, you make a fecking good argument here. When you see those stats laid bare it’s shocking, it really is.

Only problem is we can hound a manager out of a club. It’s a lot harder doing that to an owner as they’ll only leave when they get a good offer.

I remember the silly faaack holding up his ticket for the underground at his opening press conference.

Not Gross fault, we were an utter embarrassment for a good chunk of the 90’s and close to relegation twice. We just seemed to love a schitt midfielder and even worse defenders, it was purely our very decent forward lines that kept our heads above water.

My first season ticket was the year we nearly went down in 93/94 winning a close match away at Oldham to get us out of the schitt. Abysmal side - Kevin Scott, Dean Austin and Stuart Nethergood. My dad lied to me by telling me we would never be that bad again and for a while he was correct as we finished between 7-10 the next few seasons.

Then 97/98 came around, the Goonies walked the title and Spurs were in the schitt big time. Second last game we were 2-1 down to Wimbledon at half time and other results meant that we were in the relegation zone at that point despite having Ginola, Klinnsmann and Ferdinand in the side. Then Big Jurgen dug us out with 4 second half goals in a 6-2 win, other results swung and we were safe with a game to spare.

I mention this schitt above, because in some ways it was more enjoyable than now. Sure it was hairy at times and we used to get smashed by some mid table fodder like Sheff Wed, but we were dangerous as faaack in the cups for any side and managed to win 2 in the 90’s

Doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try - the Khunt was supposed to have taken a back seat on transfer dealings yet the noise from the club is that he is still meddling.

We’re sat here in Jan with a squad that isn’t good enough and Levy doesn’t know if he fancies the manager anymore.

Does it make sense to spend money now when the manager is on the brink - No. But sack him now if that’s the case, get the new broom in and give him a little bit of time to potentially make a purchase or 2. Levy though will sack Conte once this window shuts so that he doesn’t have to put his hands in his pocket until next summer.

Spurs fans should be hounding Levy at every opportunity, he is in terms of trophies the worst owner the club has ever had and it’s not because he has been unlucky, it’s because he runs us as a business above all else and loves a good looking spreadsheet

They are a dying breed, it’s getting nasty and toxic now. Usually this leads to a managers sacking and unfortunately will do again - but the match going fans aren’t calling out Conte, the ire is directed at Levy and less so Enic.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Levy is looking at what happened at Everton at the weekend and is a little jittery now, he must know he is as popular as an STD. Very nearly Jan 18 and we’ve signed nobody

The rumours were that Levy had decided to step away from football decisions and let Paratici and Conte get on with it, but apparently he can not help himself and he is back meddling.

I can certainly believe that to be true if the Porro rumours are true, the way that deal is being dragged out has all the hallmarks of Levy`s fingerprints being all over it.

The bloke is holding the football club back and he can`t see it.

Billy, I have to thank you for laying out the Levy/ENIC incompetence so clearly.
Please print it up in big black letters and have it posted everywhere on all the entrances to our yet as unnamed new stadium.

I am certain you can get quite a few of the fans on here to help you come our next home match!
Maybe, just maybe, Sandy might even help?

Yep. Notice anything Levy gets his grubby hands near, you can almost guarantee it drags for months whilst he pi*** off another club. He’s just going to alienate us eventually and half the football clubs in Europe just won’t bother dealing with us. He has this reputation and all for the wrong reasons.

1 trophy in 23 years

Levy is a complete and utter failure for fans. Unless all they care about is a stadium and record profits

I prefer a club that wins trophies

Levy isn’t the owner. Enic is the majority shareholder. We can at least demand Enic remove levy. That would be a start.
