Not sure about GG. With his agent in town things seem to be at an advanced stage and they wouldn't want to risk the agreed fee? On the other hand Ange might be stubborn over it so who knows?

Kyogo Furuhashi has been voted into Japan's best XI for last year by their players' association...despite being snubbed for the World Cup.

The Celtic ace was a surprise omission from the Qatar tournament and was devastated to not make the final squad chosen by manager Hajime Moriyasu.

But he's been handed a huge accolade by his fellow pros after being named in Japan's Team of the Year by the Japanese Professional Football Players Association - the only player chosen who wasn't selected for the World Cup squad.

Japanese PFA chairman Maya Yoshida said: "There are some subtle differences between the players selected by coach Moriyasu and I think it's interesting that the other players chose them objectively."

While Kyogo made the cut, Celtic team-mate Daizen Maeda - who was at the World Cup - was not included in the best XI.

McGregor is a cert and O'Riley is probably a start. Tomoki debut?

I agree that Forrest may play instead of Maeda but then we end up with 2 RW on the pitch

And as for Berna, with Taylor out we dont have another LB unless he puts AJ or Jura there. Doubt hed play hatate there

The way it should be. Whoever puts up the most staunchest or paranoid argument wins the points

Ange said Iwata is still a week or so away

I would expect St Mirren will sit in tight for most of tonight so an early goal for Celtic will be important in making the game a bit more open. An extra days rest after they played Friday night may have an impact but Celtic's strength in depth should mean that is not a problem.

Easy win for Rangers. Again a stronger squad will help after Killie's exertions in making a good game with Celtic.

Hearts to confortably beat a tired Aberdeen side. Hearts playing Friday then Aberdeen playing extra time on Sunday will have an impact on a threadbare squad

I expect both Rangers and Celtic to win tonight which means one of them won't.
