You are right, I am insanely jealous that West Ham have played in one cup final since 1980 whereas Spurs have only played in 13 over the same time period. Good work Maf

All joking aside, this is a good interview from Antonio, really open and honest and hits the nail on the head.

Going from scrappy underdogs to one of the big boys is virtually impossible without multi billionaire owners willing to buy a place at the top.

Why West Ham thought a couple of seasons finishing around 6th would be a sufficient springboard to completely rip up the game plan I will never know.

There will always be 7 or 8 clubs who can out spend West Ham unless they get a Qatari takeover ( unlikely as they don’t own their ground ) and therefore their natural place in the pecking order will always be mid table.

They need to get back to basics and start scrapping and clawing their way to 40 points again,
