I would go for a lot of changes, but Arteta will go strong I reckon.
Don't think Big Mo will be fit, though.
The problem we may have is a lot of the back ups have barely played. If we pick up a couple of injuries it is a bit difficult for the back ups to be expected to walk straight into the team at the level expected.
Would like to see ESR in the Xhaka role, tbh. Shame we haven't got Nelson to come in wide and Marqy is a bit off a starting role. I would therefore go with Trossard left and Vieira right.
Given that it's another week before Everton, I think Arteta will go full strength although he may be tempted to bring Turner, Tomiyasu and ESR/Trossard in for Ramsdale, White and Martinelli.
It'd be great to rest a few but at the same time, the games aren't coming thick and fast at the moment. We've only got 1 midweek game in Feb with 5 games in total. United in contrast have 8 games to manage.
………Turner
Tomiyasu.,…. Saliba…..Kiwior……Zinchenko
Xhaka…….Partey……..Odegaard
Trossard….Nketia…..Smith Rowe

what you talking about
It's a tricky one. I remember in 07/08, we were flying, drew old Trafford in the cup, played a mixed XI, got battered.
I'm not saying that led to utd overtaking us in the league, but it can give an edge.
Honestly, I'd play the first team. See what we're made of.
But then if we play a strong xi and they field a weakened team and still beat us... 🤣😂

Playing the first team in my opinion would be nuts with so many games to play, I get the issue that a heavy defeat wouldn’t help but resting players when we can is critical. The FA Cup is not important AT ALL to us, we actually have a chance in the league this season & the FA Cup pales in comparison to that.
The other side of the coin regarding team morale is it gives squad players a chance to push for the starting 11, it’s very tough if you get no chances at all. 🤷🏻♂️
