He is not a bad player, the issue though is simple and 2 fold for me:
1. If he is instead of Zaniolo then Levy has gone forbthe cheap option again as it was clear Conte wanted Zaniolo
2. This player was clearly not in our plans, Everton had it all but done - meaning this is a knee jerk signing - so what’s the strategy and how does this guy fulfil it?
Interestingly, Spurs Community have a poll on who is ENiC/Levy in and who is out - it’s currently 87% out, people aren't being fooled by this last minute supermarket sweep style anymore

It’s more a jerk knee signing than it is a knee jerk signing given his atrocious ACL record. Plus, and I hate to repeat myself but this might be the reason why Levy is cautious to spend for a manager he’s resigned to losing…

So Contes mind is not made up? What’s more likely to convince him to stay, buy the players he wants or go cheap?
If he is going in the summer why not get rid during the World Cup and bring Poch or Tuchel in and then have a plan for this window?
Why get anyone at all?
Why don’t we buy a CB - there is not a manager alive who doesn’t believe we don’t need to upgrade
If Conte is going then why are we chasing a specialist RWB in Porro only to change manager - one very unlikely to play 5 at the back
It’s a mess isn’t it lads - who do you blame for that out of curiosity?

1. You don't know that at all. I mean, Poch wanted him right?
2. By all accounts we wanted another wide attacker on loan. So it does fit kind of.. I mean Richarlison has played on both sides. As has Gil.
THST have issues with the lack of strategy re: hiring Conte and signing project players like Spence without a plan for them. Personally, I'd like to think we're beyond being a club players look as a stepping stone.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
1. I’ve not spoken to Conte personally - but it’s pretty clear Zaniolo was first choice
2. So glad we’re focusing on this major weakness in our squad - 3rd most scored, 6th most conceded

If you’re anti Conte it doesn’t mean you’re pro Levy. Jesus. How hard is that to grasp?!
Oh definitely. But looking at this signing it could be potentially be worthwhile. It’s obviously reacting to the market, but also Spurs’ current position and the form of some of the players.
You’ve not really had much in attack from the left given the form of Son and Richarlison. If Danjuma can come in a contribute some goals from that side it could get Spurs over the line for top four.
The shouting wasn’t aimed at you Lisandro. You’re not a Spurs fan but you’ve seemed a reasonable poster on the spurs board of late. I was aiming it at fans like Striketeam who seem to think the fact that we don’t think Conte is the right fit must mean we love Levy. It couldn’t be further from the truth.
For what’s worth though, Levy has invested. He’s just done it really, really badly. That’s his biggest sin. Not the money spent.

Whether Danjuma is good or not the real question is “is he what we need”
I would say no, only City and Arsenal have scored more than us - whereas 13 sides have a better defensive record.
The other issue is that it is again a signing at the expense of who the manager wanted - a small minority believe that is acceptable because they want the manager out for not signing a new contract already - but why would you when you ask the chairman for a Ferrari and he instead gives you a ford escoet with him faster stripes.
Then this small minority moans all game about the football we play on our match threads. Fortunately the match going fans are more clued up and are vociferous at games in support of the manager and against owners.

Problem is that only one of those has pace and he’s playing like Alexis Sanchez. Signing Porro will improve the attacking threat on the right. I can understand why you’d prioritise signing Danjuma on loan over Zaniolo permanently considering you position right now, and the fact the latter is crap and as injury prone as Lamela.

Danjuma got 4 starts for B'mouth at age 22, and never had a chance to get going. He also tore a hamstring and broke a foot during that season, so you'd be forgiven for thinking there were mitigating factors for something you're making such a bone of contention.
Is LW your main priority? Maybe not, but I've been reading all season that Son's been stinking the place out and at the very least needs a kick up the 'arris, so all in all it seems the anger over a low-risk loan has little to do with the player himself, who only last year proved a real headache for a number of CL-level opponents.

Problem is that only one of those has pace and he’s playing like Alexis Sanchez. Signing Porro will improve the attacking threat on the right. I can understand why you’d prioritise signing Danjuma on loan over Zaniolo permanently considering you position right now, and the fact the latter is crap and as injury prone as Lamela.

Conte is the right fit, it is ENIC that are a bad fit.
This club needs trophies, and it should not matter how they are achieved.
Pretty football and winning fack all is not the road we should be going down. The clubs needs to develop a winning mentality, that won`t happen with another Levy Lapdog in charge.
Demanding a proven winner of a manager is changed because you don`t like the football, is nothing short of stupidity.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And what about crap football and winning fack all ?
In fact, what about good football and winning?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Good football and winning - Terry Venables in 1991?
Our last two cups were George Graham 1-0 classic and an out of the blue Juande Ramos win over Chelsea

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I wouldn’t waste your energy mate hes a facking class A fool. Probably still wearing a dunce cap
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Did Levy wipe today or did your tongue do that for him again?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Lol still rinsing the same old joke? Bless you i guess it’s hard to think of anything new for a dunce

Danjuma failed in the Prem at Bournemouth - never scored. His assists have fallen off a cliff.
It was tough but we’ve managed to fight off relegation bound Everton for his signature. Meanwhile Zaniolo will now likely go to AC Milan and our fans will get a good look at him in the CL match

He did, but I think he’s improved since that season with Bournemouth.
I’ll be surprised if they get a good look at Zaniolo, he’ll probably be injured or on the bench.
