This kid has got the potential to be the best football player in the world. He's got the talent, the drive, and the dedication to make it to the top.

From just that cameo against Liverpool I can tell you incredible sense of the game and he knows how to score goals and make passes like nobody else. Hes got a real talent for the sport and hes got the ability to make something out of nothing.

But its not just his skills on the field that make him special, its his attitude and work ethic. Hes always pushing himself to be better, and hes always willing to put in the extra work to improve. Hes got a real passion for the game, and hes determined to make it to the top.

Check the stats. The old Milk Cup is the lowest in pecking order that the bigger clubs historically have tended to treat that way. It is a consolation prize if you cannot win anything else. That applies to the years when United needed to win it to "save the season" and appease the fans.
The big clubs treat the early rounds as a chance to blood some younger players and only get serious at the Q/F stage.
Same this season for United now. The PL has gone but a chance now to get some silverware and keep people happy.
