I thought this was practically done?

Ridiculous if we don't get this over the line ffs. Already bad enough we've been negotiating for what 2 weeks or so? To think he could have possibly played against City and Arsenal if we'd got our shiiit together!
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Spurs don’t think like that matemeanwhile chelsea forking out on all the best youngsters in Europe. Why did we have to be stuck with ENIC?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not just Chelsea, Pool, United, Woolwich all wrapping up deals in double quick time, not to mention other clubs, and big money being bid etc.

Levy needs to realize market has moved on from his derisory bids and knock down deals. Clubs see PL clubs as a cash cow and act accordingly, Levy can`t pull the wool over their eyes any more.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No big club has issues wrapping up big deals but us Billy
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, Arsenal did for a start.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

And then sealed Trossard in a matter of days matewhilst we got laughed at by Brighton. Not too mention Arsenal are top of the league smashing it whilst we look weak as f** in defence and need major improvements
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah I know but you said no big club has trouble sealing a deal when, well, they did! The rest of your comment answers all your own questions.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Spurs have previous for it mate. Every big transfer is a massive saga.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

But Trossard’s representative has claimed that Spurs dithered in their discussions, allowing their north London rivals to pip them to his signature.

Quoted by the Mirror, Josy Comhair said: “Spurs were in contact with us for the last two weeks.

“But it was ‘we want him, but wait this, wait that’.

Says it all

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Exactly. Dithering f*** morons. Every transfer window it’s a saga. It’s another reason why I don’t believe for a second Sporting are being difficult with Porro. It’s 100% Levy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Not even that bothered about Trossard.

It’s just the pattern of behaviour. Also, for all we know, Conte could’ve specifically asked for Trossard.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Trossard as a player not the point mate. He wasn’t priority i get that, but the dithering and saying “we wait” is Levy’s Tottenham in a nutshell. We do this with almost every transfer.

Levy ego and reputation hinder Spurs negotiating for players unless they are the only club or the other club needs to sell. He has a formula and can't help but do what is best, from a business perspective.

Nowadays clubs have billionaire owners that can have little tolerance for dally in around. I genuinely think clubs expect hard work and hate negotiating with the guy as he has a rep for being so shrewd. I just don't think it works as well in this day and age, when clubs know spurs have plenty of cash, and so many other pl teams will nip in as they have plenty of cash they will spend.

Levy could take a back seat and I'm sure spurs would be better off.

I am sick and tired of ENIC & Levy like most of us, but unbelievably there are still fans out there who defend them.

There is a poll over on SC and 86% of fans now want ENIC out, we can only assume the other 14% are either stupid, suffering with Stockholm Syndrome or related to Levy & Lewis.

Instead of boring us all with your constant sniping at the club, why don’t you get off your fat backside and go to games, get behind the team and stop acting like a clever berk on here. I hate posters like you who never go to games.

Trossard looking alright tonight for the @rse
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeh, I was thinking the same but didn`t want to mention it. And Levy bid £12m
----------------------------------------------------------------------

That’s the point isn’t it?
Whether he’s worth 30mil is irrelevant. We obviously wanted him but facked about for weeks (according to agent and Brighton).

Not saying I’m devastated we didn’t get him, but is he better than Danjuma? Probably. Would start or out pressure on the starters? Probably.

The way we do business is so 2001🤣
12mil🤣
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We didn’t fack about for weeks though did we. We put a bid in that got rejected then didn’t go back in for him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

You can say you don’t believe them if want.
But why would he make it up?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So we put a bid in it got rejected and we said wait and didn’t go back in for him.

Don. Don’t you think that at age 37 you should be able to just wait and see what happens before flying off the handlebars?

I just think Levy is one of those personalities who really is all about the money at the expense of everything else. You can be more of a businessman than a football person but Levy takes it one step further. The most expensive season tickets in Europe, the furloughing of staff, the constant squeezing every little penny down out of the selling club or up for the buying club. I don't think he'll ever change.

Not sure Fabio is allowed is he?

Yes he is, it is only in Italy that the ban has so far been given.

Ain’t you going to pick on the others chronic who are sniping at Levy on here? Don’t need to see anything as I’m always proven right with Levy. Have told you this for years and now fans have woken up.

Also let me clear, Pedro Porro whilst an exciting addition if he signs, still isn’t enough for me. We are incredibly weak in the CB area and are a Romero baf injury away from season over. Spurs simply have to buy a CB this window.
