We could have beaten Reading without Eriksen, and now we might be without him for a good while.
As a good as ETH has been, he needs to start trusting the squad players, and rotating a little more.

Personally I trust Erik, so no he doesn't

In just the last 2 weeks we have missed Casemiro vs Arsenal and now face potentially missing Eriksen unnecessarily.

Yep, it’s easy to complain in hindsight. I was more concerned about any potential fatigue we might get. But I suppose ETH probably wants to keep them sharper for next weekend, as we can rotate against Forest.
Andy Carroll being a complete donkey isn’t something you can legislate for.
Probably the wrong choice of words on Carroll actually.
Erik wants to win games and win trophies. We are in four competitions, and have all but reached the final of the first. The FA cup is still a major trophy.
We have a good chance of top 4,and play Barça soon in the Europa.
All this while getting hammered in his first two games, and having all the Ronaldo chit to deal with.
Yes of course we could have beaten Reading without Erikson, we also could have lost.
You and I don't know what the medical team says, what the player says, what Erik's plans are.
But so far his decisions are working, so, for Mr they are the right decisions.

How do you know what he does and doesn't need to do? You have zero experience at any level, no qualifications, you've never managed a team of football players, you don't know any of the staff, coaches or players on any level.
You, like me, are a complete and utter lay person. We cna have opinions and band those around but as soon as any football fan starts asserting what should or shouldn't be done etc I find it hard to pay any attention.
It's like the monkeys on the phones at work who talk about how the company should and shouldn't be run. There's a very good reason they are being paid minimum wage to answer phones and there's a very good reason none of us here are paid for input on may footballing decisions.
I'd love for foot all fans to stop pretending they really have any idea about things. We observe and make ill informed judgements and opinions. It's fine for entertainment but it's pretty cringe when people who have never even expeirmece semi professional football, act like they know what they would do as a Premier League manager.
You have absolutely no idea what to do, you'd be utterly, utterly useless if you had a week in the job. You have zero understanding of what and why he's made decisions so just bear that in mind. Even the absolute worst Premier league manager of all time is significantly better informed than you or I.
I was against the idea of fielding a strong team yesterday. But I must admit that Eric’s approach is the right one: you field your best players, you score two or three goals and then you replace them. For those who say, it’s only Reading, well, we used to struggle against these teams in the last few years. Chasing four trophies is a dangerous business, to be sure, as we may lose two or three of them in one single week, but it’s so refreshing to have a manager who says clearly that he is here to win trophies. In the meantime, we are playing some good football for the first time in years.

I think we could have rested 1 or 2 against Reading. I’m sorry, it they were very poor.
I’m also unsure about a lack of backing. ETH wanted Weggy and a reserve GK and got them. He doesn’t seem to be the type to get just anyone in. He wants the right profile of player, which might not be gettable right now.

We could have beaten Reading without Eriksen, and now we might be without him for a good while.
As a good as ETH has been, he needs to start trusting the squad players, and rotating a little more.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Or we might have lost and given oxygen to dumbwads to be negative again
The only facts we know are that we started Eriksen, we won and Eriksen got mauled by a donkey
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That was our easiest game of the season so far. We would have beat them without Eriksen.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Amazing that you could know that, while still being regarded as one of the biggest know nothings on the internet
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You don’t think we would have beaten Reading without Eriksen, and have the audacity to question my intelligence.
Give your head a wobble. Silly boy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think we could... "Think" being the operative word... You are stating it as fact, which is a sign of being an idiot.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s a sign of confidence in your opinion.
We know that most agreed pre match, that the line up was stronger than we all expected (ie we didn’t need to play some of those against the oppositions)
No problem if you think we need such a line up to beat Reading. Not everyone understands footy to the same degree. Just don’t get abusive to cover it up.

I probably wouldn't have played Eriksen either but that has nothing to do with him being clattered. Could happen in any game or even training.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep, it’s easy to complain in hindsight. I was more concerned about any potential fatigue we might get. But I suppose ETH probably wants to keep them sharper for next weekend, as we can rotate against Forest.
Andy Carroll being a complete donkey isn’t something you can legislate for.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hindsight? Eriksen tiring has been an issue for weeks. Had he been rested he wouldn’t have been clattered.

But he didn’t get injured because he was tired.

Few on here understand football as well as Erik. Probably nobody does.

That was our easiest game of the season so far.
______
Maybe Ten Hag wanted to put the game to bed in the first half and then take off Ericksen and others.
Things don't always work out the way you want and you can't legislate for the likes of Carrol jumping around like a lunatic
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Let’s be honest. Everyone looked at that line up and thought it was far stronger than they expected.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe far stronger than expected but still went in at half time 0-0 and could have been down by 1 considering Reading had arguably the best chance of the 1st half.
Maybe a 2nd string UTD might have gone in 1 down and Erik would have had to bring on the likes of Ericksen anyway.
UTD's problems at the moment have less to do with Ten Hags rotation and more to do with the embarrassng lack of backing in this window
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think we could have rested 1 or 2 against Reading. I’m sorry, it they were very poor.
I’m also unsure about a lack of backing. ETH wanted Weggy and a reserve GK and got them. He doesn’t seem to be the type to get just anyone in. He wants the right profile of player, which might not be gettable right now.
