great first half that. Hope Julen doesn't go back five too soon.
Excellent first half. Dawson and Lemina are two low key signings that look like they're turning out to be inspired. Two players we didn't realise we needed.
Shame for Hwang. Thought he was playing well and is looking like he knows his role in the team, then gets a hamstring injury.
J-Lo taking a month to realise there was a reason Burnley got relegated.
Good effort that. Well deserved.
25 goals I said right. 3 off of that already. Should have scored a couple more to be fair. Looking forward to next season.
Good job for Liverpool we didn't sign a striker and solve our goals problem.
Most I've enjoyed watching Wolves for a long time.
Lemina man of the match for me.
Can see Klopp walking in the summer. The spark has gone from them big time.
Pity we couldn’t sign Liverpool’s centre backs for the opposition in our remaining games.
Considering we scored three today I thought Sarabia and Cunha with the ball were both pretty poor as it goes
Lemina and Dawson immense.
Hah I said to the guy next to me in the stand I had a tenner on Dawson to score at 11-1 and 30 seconds later he scored
First half best I have seen us for a long time and atmosphere great
What a fabulous performance that was. We are reborn under this manager. Blew them way in the early stages of the first half, Liverpool coming back strong early in the second half but then some good substitutions set up the third goal that finished them off.
Couple of really good saves by Sa, Kilman back to his best in defence, excellent debuts from Dawson and Lemina and another man of the match performance by Neves. The subs Moutinho, Adama and Jimenez all did well but Podence needs a word with his barber about a terrible hair dye. Looked like a blue rinse.
Great ending to the game with Wolves retaining possession virtually throughout the added time at the end accompanied by a standing ovation from all sides of the ground.
Wolfie still trying to fathom out how a conductor can make a difference to the orchestra πΌπΌ

As Gem rightly pointed out on the previous Match Thread, we still haven't addressed the elephant in the room (aka the 1000lb Gorilla sat in the corner) of not having a reliable goal scorer.
I don't share cinci's optimism that we are going to see a sudden rush of goals. We still need more clean sheets if we are going to move up the table, as I can see a few 1-0 wins as our only hope of survival.
We have had 4 wins this season, 3 of them 1-0.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Gorilla changed, if Cunha & Sariba keep that movement going
Lemington MOTM for me, tactics spot on playing him as the deep lying M/F guy, gave Neves licence to roam
Lemina MOTM for me, tactics spot on playing him as the deep lying M/F guy, gave Neves licence to roam
One swallow doesn’t make a summer Mike.
And we aren’t going to play through Liverpools defence every week. π
Heard Klopp's post match interview. 2 things stood out:
1. He said (not quoting here) a top class away performance without scoring, or words to that effect. Which match was he watching.
2. No mention of Wolves at all. Most managers at least pay lip service to the opposition, not a word from Klopp.
Yes Liverpool were poor, but we have played poorer sides and not done so well. Today Wolves won not just because they were better than their opponents but because they played very well. Few teams would have fared better against us the way we played today.
I just watched the interview too. He said our third goal doesn't count as it was the first time we'd crossed the halfway line in the second half.
Should have been 4 really. Jimenez with a clear chance on goal and contrived to hardly get any contact on the ball at all. Bizarre effort.
I’ve been pretty critical of Hwang, justifiably so I think, but after a terrible first 5 minutes I thought he played well today until his hamstring injury. Be interesting to see who gets picked in his place next week in what’s an important game at Southampton. Possibly Podence although Traore was really good when he came on today. Been a surprise this season how good Adama is in the air. Outjumps most defenders and produces some good headers. Regularly the target for outlet balls now
Adama has always been pretty good in the air to be fair. Gets good vertical when he jumps. Shame he can never do it in the oppositions box though.
