We played better when he was in the team ….we miss his energy (when he wasn’t injured!) and he helped us press from the front

It’s pretty clear Gil , who is definitely very talented , is too weak for the premier league

Why does everything have to be so binary these days? Gil's done alright when he's played this season. He needs to play more games though, if he's going to reach his potential. Like Spence. They could both come back and smash it with us. I'm not writing either off.

Would thought given how shat the squad is maybe would been better to keep one if not both of them…… squad looking so weak now. Unless levy and co have some surprises for us later tonight.

It's a strange one because it seemed as though he was just starting to find his feet in the league and put a few good performances together, and now we're loaning him back to his old league again. I guess Conte must have okayed it as he felt he wouldn't get enough games with Kulu back. I still think he could have been useful.

I think Danjuma replaced Gil in effect

Not made us any weaker….Gil never played anyway

Gil wasn't playing while Richarlison was fit, now we've got Danjuma. Spence wasn't getting in the squad most weeks. We'll not notice them gone

Am I missing something, what did Spurs actually gain out if this deal? Seville seem to have done Spurs up like a kipper. Two players plus money.

Sandy, you seem to forget that Tottenham are still in 3 competitions, the Prem, the FA tin pot, and the Champions League.
Skipp is certainly going to get game time.
And, depending upon how Porro does, I predict Sessignon may get game time too (although I hope not).
We did not get a CB which we badly needed.....
and I wonder what deals Daniel Damned Levy managed to screw up there?

Sessegnon is a LWB. Porro doesn't affect him at all
