we're gonna have to be prepared for a lot of injuries coming up

you can understand strong line ups - we have at times played very poorly with just a few subs, and ETH rightly wants to win these cups

But the number of games in insane, gonna take a lot out of these players

Yeh I'd have liked to have seen that. I'm surprised how strong we've gone here.

I do think we missed a trick not sending Elanga on loan to Everton

they literally brought no-one in
would have been a good time for him to get some games under pressure

The last thing we'd want is to give Forest hope with the line up and them then getting a few back quickly. Then we'd have to use our important players in a much more stressful situation. I can see this playing out pretty serenely and nothing much more than a practice game if we approach it right. Don't think Forest are the type of team to go round kicking.

Oh yeah I forgot they sold Gordon. Duh.

Still, not sure if I want Elanga involved in that toxicity brewing over there in the blue side of Merseyside
