But we looked better when Bamford was playing Batty. When he went off we lost any kind of cohesion we had.
I’m bracing myself for a poor week against them lot. Hope to God it proves unfounded.
Agree 100% with the 433
Completely disagree with Rutter being up top on his own.
Also agree with 433 although I don't think it will improve much with this guy in charge
I actually thought Roca was having a decent game yesterday and was surprised when he was taken off. All his subs make me cringe. They are always like for like and make no real sense. Adding McKennie was an idea but you keep Roca on. Baffling
I agree Outwood , Roca was having one of his best days in a Leeds shirt should have stayed on.
Have to also say I was somewhat bemused with how we appeared to have 4 players at one point (including Firpo) tight on the top left hand flank hemmed in by about 6 Forest players.
Right hand flank appeared redundant at times.
Summerville was very poor when he came on and his wild shot in the last minutes, into row Z summed up the second half.
There is always hope I suppose but after yesterday I just can't see it happening under JM as that really did highlight yet again his coaching difficiencies in the 2nd half.... I actually think it's embarrassing, even if by some warped twist of fate we beat Man U I just think we would inevitably go on another lengthy winless run afterwards.
There seems to be a trickle of media speculation that Carlos Corberon is being touted, but would he really be let go by WBA at this stage of the season? I can't see that happening unless he has a buy out clause in his contract.
The good news is we are in touch and amongst half a dozen teams at the bottom and so as if seems likely the board dithers for a few more games then we shouldn't be too cut adrift and a new man can still save us but I wish it was sooner rather than later as in now.
The obvious concern is if against scchuumm = 0 points, likely. Everton pick up a few points then we play them. If we lose that we could be cut adrift in the RZone. Could be too late in terms of attracting a replacement. It's not looking good all round. Has to go!
We seem to be heading downwards - relegation by a million cuts - at the moment.
Playing reasonably well, but unable to score. It's been the story for too long now. More than enough chances, good chances, to win that game yesterday - but then here we are again lamenting another defeat and/or dropped points.
Club have a decision now ... keep and trust in him. Or jettison and get someone in with enough time to turn things around.
Struijk ... personally i feel for the lad. In his mind he was a stop gap LB and for a while i felt did it well. But it isn't his favoured position, or one he looks particularly comfortable in. A really good prospect is being badly affected by being played out of position for me. Must be dreading the next 2 matches - unless he's dropped for our specialist LB (Firpo).
It was easy to think that because we spent a shedload in the Jan transfer window, we’d be fine - anyone who was lulled into thinking that must now have changed their minds. Everton have proved that it’s not what you spend, it’s about about having a manager who knows how to get the best out his players. It’s clear Jesse doesn’t, but whoever we get to replace him, let’s not make it a knee jerk, quick fix, but someone with a long-term strategy. We’ve spent big on players recently - let’s do the same on recruiting our next manager.
I still believe you have to give a manager time, especially if you have bought in all these players for his plans.
That is of course, if they have bought in all these players, for his plans.
Just as last season, I was expecting no points from tough run of games, I'm expecting no points from next 2 games, so I wouldn't see that as reason to get rid of him.
It's the two games after that if we can't perform in those then there is a decision to make.
All I can say is family friend of his that I coach says he has full support at the club, so I'm not expecting him to go anywhere.
What will be an interesting dynamic is AR.
He will not want to see the value of Leeds go down prior to any buyout by 49ers, will 49ers warm to idea of buying us on the cheap.
We are always just a commodity for these owners. None of them really care.
The only one who did was Bielsa.
Well Jonty if your friend is correct I think we really are in serious trouble because quite clearly JM has an inability to get results against our relegation rivals.
He has been given a crop of players that I'm almost certain any other Premier league manager would have seen us where Villa or Palace are.
Also the second half performance yesterday shouted out loud and clear that the Leeds players have no idea what JM is trying to do and MOTD 2 summed up again perfectly that Leeds does not have any obvious style or pattern to their play and reiterated the frenetic and chaotic nature of our team.
How do the owners not recognise that it is JM and his narrow tactics that is responsible for our predicament and that we urgently need a new manager?.... I give up!

Not my friend, customer, but is close family friend of the Marsch's.
Players like Marsch, he clearly has some real support in the boardroom too.
I'm glad players like marsch, at least they won't down tools.
But I was hoping those players would be able to win games on their own against inferior teams and safely stay up despite an inept manager.
The fear for me is losing what we built if we go down. Marsch is not the man for the job.
I've never felt he was. Moyes was a better choice to replace Ferguson than marsch was to replace Bielsa.
About halfway through the 2nd half the sky commentators said something like Leeds have got one more substitution window but have played all of their attacking options. At that time I didn't think we would score in a month of Sundays but it was only later that I realised Aaronson was sitting on the bench. Kind of sums things up for me.

Why stick with a coach who you have zero expectations of?

I didn't have much expectations of him when he came in, should we have gotten rid of him then?
We cant judge these players on 3/4 matches (we can have an opinion b ut too soon to really judge), so what is point of bringing in all these players this window, then giving him no time?
He might produce something, he might not, but he definitely won't if sacked.
I think every manager needs to be given time.
Now, having said that, he's been here a year, our form was bad last season and we were told that is just to get out of jail, you'll see the real Marsch team this season.
Have we? Or will these new signings make the difference?
I'm not convinced they will but he has to be given a chance, I would personally give him to Southampton.
Don't expect anything from man u, if we get any points there its an outlier, but there must be some realistic target v Everton and Southampton, even just getting 2 points from those is an improvement, but if that is our expectation for this expensively assembled squad, 1 point per game v bottom table teams, then the expectations are wrong and Marsch told us very firmly that us fans expect too much, but we expect better than this and rightly so.
Having slept on my thoughts about Bamford coming
on as a sub in a 4-3-3, I changed my mind. Start him.
