I'd not be surprised if we actually get points from the next 2 games as bizarre (maybe deluded!) as that may seem.
We pick up points when seemingly unlikely (Chel/Liv etc...) ... but i do think the writing is on the wall for JM, unless the owners both current and future, want to continue backing him. I'd not have been surprised to have woken this morning to hear he'd gone and Allardyce was in LS11 (that's a joke before anyone shouts!).
Frustrating thing to watch - as i'm sure it is for the players - is that we're small margins away from being further up the table. But as each match passes it gets more concerning.
Massive week ahead.
Those Chelsea and Liverpool wins seem like an age away now.
I think we have to remember how poor Chelsa and Liverpool have been in league this season.
We hold those results up as we can beat anyone, but anyone could have beaten those 2 they've been really poor this season.
Bielsa brought so much more than what is on the pitch, but what he did bring on the pitch was incredible and I would put my mortgage on it that had he had these players, we would be top half of table.
To me it’s an almost “where do we go from here?” situation.
Something has to change. JM either changes the way we play or he will fall on his own sword I think.
As VOF says - it’s small margins. Sini puts one of his two chances away and we win that game. But once we go a goal down Forest simply managed the game - especially second half.
Same old - play well - concede on their first attack - struggle to score.
Both Brentford and Forest parked the bus. As a fan I would hate my team to do that - especially at home. But both sets of fans are happy they took points off us.
Stoopo I will take ugly point winning football anyday if it is the solution to us seeing PL footy next season.
What we experienced yseterday had 'Championship here we come' written all over it.
Should be gone already.
We would be better off with Kompany or Carrick.
Would love a coach that wants us to keep the ball. That wants us to be able to control possession and progress the ball well.
The only problem is that due to the style of signings under Marsch, we only really have Roca who is comfortable on the ball and a capable progressive passer in our midfield. I can't believe he thought putting Mckennie and Adams in the middle together would help us break down the low block of Forest.
People say he needs to change his style, he won't because he can't. He has welded himself to this setup for his whole career, i doubt he could even if he wanted to. Also the players would be like he doesn't know what he is doing.
i wanted him to last to the end of the season but he has to go know. It is obvious he is the week link.
Maybe this could be the turning point….

..... I give up - unbelievable Jeff!
100% we're relegated if he stays in charge.
Can you imagine this bloke trying to navigate the
Championship? He would be more clueless there.
He either gets sacked this week to give the next
manager a chance. Or he's sacked after ten games
in the Championship.
Conversations need to be had to sound out various other managers if they have not already.I think it could all come to a head next Sunday.
2-1 v 20th placed Norwich (94th min winner)
3-2 v 10-man Wolves (91st min winner)
3-0 v 19th placed Watford
2-1 v 9-men Brentford (94th min winner)
2-1 v Wolves
3-0 v 10-man Chelsea
2-1 v Liverpool 89th min winner
4-3 v Bournemouth
That's the big problem that the club has now Rob, if we as fans are questioning, what are the players doing and thinking? Are they thinking what's the point of buying into your ideas when in all likelyhood the execs may call 'Taxi for Jesse' in the next couple of weeks.
They need certainty that the manager whoever that is , is there until the end of the season , - they have'nt got that at the moment.

To be fair we do keep the ball. Look at yesterday. 70% possession. More than double the number of passes. More than double the number of touches in the attacking box.
Possession isn’t our problem. It’s that killer ball we lack. Mind you we had more than enough chances to put that game to bed.
I honestly think all the hierarchy at the club are invested too heavily in Jesse. Unfortunately I think we’re stuck with him. Our only chance is to somehow survive this season and get rid of him in the summer. Doubt very much that would happen though (sadly, either events).
he's gone, carlos is on his way
I was totally wrong above "Taxi for Jesse" called within a couple of hours not a couple of weeks!

I honestly thought he would get the next four games.
Obviously the owners have listened to (I think) the majority of supporters.
Good decision by the club. Like Bielsa last year after the Spurs game at home, the writing was on the wall. Tuchel or Poch would get us out of this mess. Benitez, I'm not sure about and Carlos is a wild card for me, but worth a look.
