Silva, Mendy and Kante...the only over 30s I'd extend. The latter two, 3+ years contracts

Not Mendy, unless we're selling Kepa. Not a great plan to tie up two non-HG slots in a squad with keepers.

Kepa seems to have refound his form this season. I think he stays and we get what we can for Mendy in the summer. Look to get a young HG keeper into the number 2 slot.

Kante it depends how he comes out of his latest injury. He's a great player, but it doesn't matter how good you are if you can't get onto the pitch.

Great news on Silva, along with James he's our most important player and currently showing little signs of slowing down. I'm not against a new deal at all but where does that leave fofana, badiashile, colwill now we seem to be favouring a back 4

Kepa is interesting, would you say he's now fully ousted Mendy?

I thought Mendy would hold the position for a while from an outside pov

No no. Fallen into the trap of thinking Kepa is up to standard of where we need to be. He's in the form of his life, sure. As long as his purple patch is sustained the better...stock stays high, might be able to recoup a substantial amount when he's sold.

Should very much be a case of "Strike while the iron is hot" in terms of offloading one of the highest wage earners (if the club has ambitions to challenge and achieve big...Kepa has to go)

I think club will sign Southampton' goalkeeper Bazunu in the summer. Fits the profile and homegrown.

Ending up with -

Bazunu
Mendy or Kepa
Slonina (Bettinelli)

As our goalkeepers.
