Iraola please - NOT Gerrard

I don't want Gerrard, but at the same time I don't want Potter!..

Who is this CBS journalist, is he a Leeds fan!..

Or just some bod trying to stir a story?..

Potter might be good at the right club, but its surely better bringing someone in that is better at all clubs, its time for our top dogs to show their true intentions and bring in someone that'll take us to the next level, and satisfy the new owners when they take over!..

I don't want relegation - which is on the cards -
just want us to hire an escape artist and worry
about longer term in the summer.

We will 100% be relegated if we get Gerrard. He is a negative coach in terms of play, it won't suit our team and squad at all.

I'm genuinely concerned. I'd rather have JM than Gerrard.

Oh, what a mess! If Skubala & co do OK tomorrow (a win or a draw) I think I would rather they managed/coached the team for the rest of the season and get an agreement for Iraola to take the job in the summer, if we manage to stay up. I think it would be a smaller risk to stay with Skubala than to sign such risks as Gerrard or Hasenhuttl.

Why not just call Chelsea and ask if we can speak to Potter...just a thought!

If we're after Iraola it'd be best to get him now, if we wait until the end off season it might open a way for others to come in, he's doing well where he is now and at the end off season, he might be in a position to pick and choose where if he wants to go anywhere!..

In my post I said “to get an agreement now” meaning something signed now and legally binding for Iraola’s appointment in the summer - but probably on the condition we stay in the Prem.

What has Iraola achieved? Pretty much nothing. Much rather have Stevie G and Gary Mac

Ex Ajax manger now come out of nowhere as favourite with bookies
Really hope it's not him

Maid, if he was to sign something like that, it'd leave him in a bad place if we don't stay in the Prem!..
His club would know what he's done and start looking for new as soon as he signs!..

Crazy if true and would be a massive gamble. He was pretty unpopular at Ajax at the end. Similar story to Marsch at RB Leipzig, by the looks of it.

Stll hoping we just stump up the cash for Iraola...

Fair point about Iraola but SG we know is not for us - villa are surviving but still poor

If the issue with Iraola is that Rayo Vallecano want £7 million in compensation and Leeds are only willing to pay half because he is near the end of his contract then I give up.... pay the effing money and get the number 1 choice otherwise it's Nuno for me. Typical Leeds faffing about like trying to turn the Titanic to get things done quickly.

Stevie is desperate for the job so he can stay home and just commute.

If this is the case (and to be fair we don’t know anything for sure) then it’s unforgivable. £7m in the grand scale of things is peanuts.

Fair point, totally agree..I'd keep MS & co til end of season, SG is high risk.

Five months ago if Potter had been linked to the job we wouldn't have believed it and would have been foaming at the mouth for him.

What he did at Brighton was amazing and I'd have him in half a heartbeat.

You don't become a bad manager after five months working at the shower that is Chelsea.

He has an amazing record despite the five months he has been at Chelsea

I really think we're getting relegated. Yeah, I know,
stop being a fcking doom merchant. Saying that,
if Chelsea do sack Potter, would he join us in the
Championship? Parachute money, new ownership,
a new project. Maybe he would. I'd take him.
