Phew - dodged a bullet there I think.
Just seen odds on paddy power and he was 5th favourite with Iraola number one and Skubala second
Warnock signed for Huddersfield, our options are reducing all the time..............
This is turning into a fiasco and this boards lowest point by some margin.

if warnock was an option then we would be in a fiasco.
I am relieved. His record was not inspiring. Latest odds on Skybet are:
Nuno Espirito Santo 7/2, Andoni Iraola 5/1, Steven Gerrard, 5/1, Michael Skubala 7/1, Alfred Schreuder 10/1
Arne Slot
12/1
Iraola or bust for me! All the others - no thanks
I was really hoping the days of our great club being treated as a 'laughing stock' were behind us but this just reminds me we are not there yet.
Looks like not so much a reaction but a massive backlash from fans across all social media platforms finally got through to the board and probably him too.
NEXT!!
i would be too disappointed with Nuno. Yeah the football doesn't look inspiring but at least he has some success to his background. If they are going for a short term successor I would take him. I wouldn't be overjoyed but at least we would have a better coach than we started with.
For a second there we almost got someone in who would have been worse that what we started with in Marsch.
Phew....that was close goddamnit - didn't like the look of this Arnold geezer, eyes too close together, wrong colour hair, could see he was a need-do-well from the off.
Gotta say it - Radrizzani's a right KHAAAAAAANT! Let's all hope he fugs off sooner rather than later...
like said earlier, looks like it may be a temp then a main target, but we must stay up, what a dilemma
Do the sensible thing and keep Skubala. Two good performances albeit it followed on from Jesse in regards to ditching Bamford for Rutter a bit too early in games I feel.
Think the fan backlash was enough to deter Alfred tbh
My first instinct yesterday was this was a ploy to distract us away from Gerrard potentially filling the hot seat, to make us all so outraged we'd willingly accept Gerrard as a more suitable candidate compared to Schreuder.
Then to my horror it looked like AS was actually going to be given the job which we all rejected and predicted certain relegation and the owners were tone deaf imbeciles.
Then it was suggested it was only a temporary agreement until the end of the season and I tried to convince myself that as this appointment seemed signed and sealed I may as well get my head around it.
I tried to convince myself of this ex Ajax man's pedigree and that he wasn't as bad as we all initially thought and let's give the man a chance even though Nuno would surely have been a better option.
Hopefully some order and common sense has been restored and the sooner a more suitable man is appointed the better, preferably tomorrow, and the team can prepare for Saturday without anymore uncertainty.

Btw, Nuno underwhelms me … but he may be the last man standing. Is he really any better than Skoobs though?
You don't get someone temporarily until the summer when you are in the middle or a relegation battle
Agree with rhe comment above I suspect its a backlash from the fans on social media
Nuno would be terrible. Negative football with 3 at the back. Doesn't work with the way we try and play and the players we have
No idea where they go from here. Its so messy. I'd go all out for the Spanish lad
Nuno did well with Wolves for a long time. He is not the worst and he will sort out our back line. Much as I like Skoobs, he is not the man to get us out of this mess, but Nuno might.
Back line is best it’s been - it’s the front line we need sorting now
Gotta go all out for Iraola imo
I would offer Rayo Vallecano double his release clause to let him leave.
I know it could be considered a rip off but who cares?
If he’s as good as made out and he wants to come then just do what it takes.
£15m for the right man could be a bargain. If it means avoiding relegation it pays for itself.
Keep seeing it but cant work out where this "till end off season" thing comes from, if you interview someone I don't think they'll be looking at it as a till end off season job, they'll be after a contract to tie them down, not a seat warming exercise that at the end off season they'll need to find a new job!..

Yeah that doesn't make sense to me either.
Surely that doesn't give him much incentive to keep us up.
Not saying I want this but I reckon stevie G and Gary Mac will be in the hot seat by weekend. Can’t really see anything other than that at the moment.
