Chris Wilder is surely a no on multiple fronts.
Might be some mileage in the Wilder rumour cos he was speaking to Aberdeen then unexpectedly pulled out - maybe he'd found out he was a Leeds candidate?
Wilder should be considered...
Why doesn't MB offer a 6 month contract ...?
Why are we blatantly ignoring the higher calibre / more experienced managers oand instead opting for gambling on foreign ones. Whoever we recruit now will effectively be our 5th choice ffs.
Are these coaches barely anyone has heard of actually better than say Nuno, Poch, Hassenhuttl? Even Gerrard and Lampard are experienced in England at managing mediocre teams.
Gerrard & Lampard & Nino got sacked managing mediocre sides 🤷🏻♂️

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Gerrard ended Celtic's run of dominance, Nuno broke the championship albeit had a ridiculous side, then finished 7th and Lampard did well with a very young Derby side (Playoff final)
What has Iraola done apart from getting a team 5th at the half way point of the season?

Exactly Shaun, I asked this question yesterday. It seems if you've got a foreign name you're a world class coach.
Steven Gerard was useless without Michael Beale, Lampard was a disaster at Chelsea and Everton.
No way should we be entertaining either of them.
Our owners have shown themselves to be totally incompetent once agsin.

You can have our ex-manager. Believe he's familiar with some areas in the north of England since covid? And we are right back to Celtic ended Celtic's run of dominance.
People championing Lampard need to get help.
Wilder comes in, should be riots
Lampard loaned Mount Wilson tomori using his connections to get derby to playoffs. Short term approach with no real coaching skills evident. Derby had spent well for a few seasons so with that trio coming In they were always going to be decent.
Short term outlook did nothing for derby
Rubbish at Chelsea and everton
Gerrard won a 2 horse race after spending a lot of money. At villa he spent a fortune and stayed static position and played dull football
What has Iraola done?
Took a tier2 side that finished 7th
Got them promoted to top tier first season
Finished 12th la liga
Currently 5th la liga
Vallecano Have yo yo between 1-3 tier of football in past 30year .
Wilder would be shocking
Not doubting the job he did at Shef U but apart from the fact he doesn't like us, it's not a good fit
An out-of-work coach might take a short term contract, an in-work coach is going to be looking for 3-1/2 years. I just hope we remember those that turned us down and don’t ever look their way again.
No and no.
Would love Poch, but no chance of that so of the named candidates we must go get Iraola and pay whatever we need to land him.

He went unbeaten ffs of course he ended it
Leeds could get Podgycoglu if they stay up.
He has done a good job tbf to him, built a decent team quickly albeit helped by Rangers employing an absolute dafty to replace Gerrard
Gerardo Martino is the latest new name attached to us.
why dont we just go for Will Still?
