Conte has said we are likely to put our faith in Skipp and Sarr tonight.

I actually think that will be fine, we will be quite defensive tonight and that suits Skipp, it’s playmaking he struggles with.

I have mostly been impressed with Sarr so am looking forward to seeing him again - this is a chance for him, we’ve seen players step up and then stay there before - Harry Kane for instance, but also Ryan Mason and Skipp himself. No reason Sarr cannot.

As for Milan, they did get a morale boosting 1-0 win last time out, but if we sit back and frustrate them then they will struggle tonight and their fans will get on their backs.

Yes I hear they aren’t doing that well!

We should trust Skipp and Sarr. Skipp played averagely after coming back from a lon lay off due to injury and our fans are slating him for that?

In the last game against Preston, he looked sleek and a calming impact on the back four. Sarr is a confident young player with his physical presence and he can only get better. Maybe even, dare I say it, become the new Vieira?
If those two just ensure they protect the back four, we have enough fire power to get something.
