I agree with you. I check the betting every day, as the bookies are often well informed. There have been no new moves in the market, though Skubala has drifted since Saturday's shambles.
If the Board don't appoint the right man and soon, we are heading to the Championship.
The 64 Thousand dollar question - actually expecting more fiasco from within the LS11 exec offices.
Feel sorry for Skubala. He's been dumped in a place he never asked to be. Not his fault at all.
Think we either need to get Nuno in to try and save us or rebuild us after relegation.
Or
Back Skubala until Potter becomes available and then same as Nuno. Build us a club regardless what league we end up in.
It's not looking like Radz and Co are in any rush to appoint an experienced head this week which depresses me greatly.
I've read bits on newsnow indicating that only if we don't win on Saturday will a Nuno, a Gerrard or Benetez be considered.
What planet are our heirarchy on?
This is nothing short of kamikaze, Russian roulette and suicidal tactics in my mind but hey I'm not a millionaire so what do I know?
If we lose on Saturday, why would "a Nuno, a Gerrard or Benetez" want to manage a team with little chance of staying up and work for a bunch of clowns?
What planet are our heirarchy on? Indeed!
It really is baffling. So much at stake yet so little disregard. Anyone would thing Radz is selling up?
The only glimmer of hope or explanation for us not announcing Nuno etc as our new manager which I really wanted to be the case today or tomorrow at the latest is the possibility they know that Potter is close to being sacked.
Has Potter or his representative indicated he would accept an immediate return to management with us?
If this is the case then I can understand and forgive such stagnation or inactivity in the new manager department.
Just imagine that scenario and we play Chelsea in a couple of weeks.... Very tasty!
I'm not sure I'd want Potter (though *anyone* would be an improvement I suppose).
I think Brighton's backroom and recruitment staff made him look better than he is.
From all reports, including Phil Hay, it seems Radz and Orta have decided to keep Skubala in charge for the remainder of the season. If it's true, that's unfathomable. Tell me if I'm wrong but Skoobs looked lost and without answers at the post-match conference. Without a fresh injection of ideas and energy I just can't see us staying up.
Anyone would think 400 mill isn't a lot of money...isn't that what the 49ers would pay if we stay up and they buy AR out?
But wait, even if we go down, he still makes shedloads, no? Anyone got any idea of how much value the club would lose through relegation?
And then of course, there's the firesale option, stripping the club of any bankable assets before next season begins.
Saturday was a woefully dismal performance and I am totally despondent. To what degree are the players responsible - seems like they just didn't turn up. These are games we should be winning comfortably with this squad, surely?
I think Skooby is the preferred option now for Radz and Co. Pretty incompetent to not have a plan in place - that was known and agreed with a replacement - before pressing the button. It's made a precarious position even worse ffs.
I just hope the atmosphere doesn't turn toxic against the board on Saturday - right now the team need the 12th man. Not saying it'll happen - or not justified - but still lots to play for, if we can only get a couple of wins. Honestly believe this team would be transformed if the near misses can start being converted .....
From what I have read this morning Boehly is still confident that Potter will turn it around. No indication that he will be sacked at all.

Spot on Lorimer
Actually Chelsea don't play again until Sunday away at Spurs which you can see them losing and if there is any chance we are in the running for his services it would explain why Skubala stays in charge another week.
Potter then could be sacked on the Monday and installed by us the next day or the Wednesday have a few days training and his first game in charge is the Saturday at Stamford Bridge.
I personally think where the expectation is moderate ie a mid to upper Premier league position and a possible cup win similar to the expectation Leicester have then Potter is ideal and so would suit us down to the ground.
Despite his likely dismissal I still think Potter offers Leeds the very best chance of success in the short term and the long term.
Brighton do have a good set up but Potter has taken most if not all of his assistants that did well for him at Brighton to Chelsea and unfortunately mid table as they are is not good enough for them and their loss hopefully could be our gain.
If this is all pie in the sky and Skubala is going to be entrusted with the task of keeping us up then I am almost certainly resigned to Leeds being relegated and Radz and Co should be ashamed of themselves.
Any thoughts of Potter coming are all pipe dreams, I fear. I may be misinformed but why would would Potter take on a club that is odds-on for relegation when he knows there will be other safer propositions coming along in summer, if not before? Have we even approached Potter?
Javi Gracia has suddenly appeared as betting favourite.
Anyone know who he is!!
Looks like Reg from The Bill! haha
To me all the dithering just confirms that Radz and Orta deep down can't really give a monkeys if we get relegated.
Leeds is just a job, an ego trip with Radz footballing heart attached to Juventus and Orta I imagine supports Barcelona or Real Madrid.
A supporter and I mean a real supporter since childhood that owned Leeds would have sacked Marsch after the Fulham defeat but had things dragged on as they did an owner with proper Leeds loyalties would have found the funds to release iether Iraola and then as a back up focussed their attention on Nuno.
The whole dismissal episode should have been sorted by last week with the new man able to have inspired Leeds to at least a point against Everton.
Potter aside and realistically I think my imaginings of him being our new boss is desperate stuff but it is desperate because that's the situation Leeds are seemingly in with no flicker of hope in all honesty of surviving if Skubala is considered the answer.
I hope we win on Saturday and it isn't an impossible task but I fear it will end in tears and the toxic atmosphere that will surely follow is no one's fault other than those supposedly in charge.
