He ran the first half, he would elevate us to elite levels.
Chris Sutton just predicted Newcastle to beat United on Sunday. I posted this a few weeks ago

Guy really fancies United to lose doesn't he
I doubt it happens now but I reckon he would be a top signing.
He's pretty good even though I loved Busquets more. Immaculate at 34.
De Jong was a driver through midfield

No he wouldn’t
Ten Hag would know exactly how to use him. Our side is becoming very good now, but we're still bad at building from the back. FDJ and a keeper who can pass would immediately turn us from bad to very good in that respect.
I think that boat has sailed now though.

Reading his predictions from season start...lad's defo can't stand Utd.
He's thinking team fatigue...keeping score at parity till penalties separate us
What we need is Andreas Pereira to solve our midfield problems.
De Jong would slot into Erkisens role but with more stamina.

WOW.
Poor humour that
Thought De Jong was class first half and he’s improve us a lot.
Sutton is a clickbaity headline generator for the BBC. He just says inflammatory things that they know will wind people up, ergo, he picks United to lose a lot despite all logic/form
De Jong is a quality player
Kessie quite impressed me last night too. He’s ALWAYS in space. Just finds it so naturally.
