Good Editorial in the Rovers fanzine, Popular Stand, today re attitudesof fans to the current board and running of the club. Worth a read. I was saddened by the death of John Motson. The reason I don't watch football on TV or video today is the dire state of commentry and punditry.
I agree the Bradford game is a must win for us and Donaldo's comments re DS and flexibility. I hope he has learned a leason from the Sutton game. Whilst there are starting to be more positives we still aren't the well drilled outfit we need to be to make the playoffs.
I'll go for the same result as the first fixture. 1-1 Miller if he keeps his place or Rowe if not.
I'll stay optimistic like Donaldo with a 2-1 win for the Rovers. Hurst to score if he starts, or Miller. Of neither starts, maybe it will be a defender, so I'll pick Lakin or Biggins (whoever starts of these two!)
Not hopeful today. I expect a defeat but will forecast a draw. 1-1. Hurst or Rowe if Hurst not playing.
Once again, who knows?
Rovers 1-2 Bradford
George Miller to score ⚽
Only Mooli seems to know!
Bookie, I don't have a clue what to predict. It's like a raffle 🥴
Not Bookie, Nookie. Predictive text 😊
I watched the first 22 minutes and the gave up as the game was boring, not much skill from either side. The Premiership then won out.
My cheap NBC Peacock subscription runs to at the end of the season, but is the full price better than paying for iFollow?
As a Bookie the odds are we'll finish mid table
All people say who remain faithful to the cause, or should I say the “Schofield cause”, is that he needs time. But is there evidence that with it, he will succeed?
The entertainment factor is feeble to say the least even compared with McSheffery’s record and we are slipping down the table.
Unless we see some evidence of endeavour and the competitive spirit that will make it encouraging for spectators to return, the games will become as boring, uninspiring and dull as listening to the Head Coach speak.
Donaldo I see what you mean about DS. Seems to put more store in players GPS data than coaching them to pass, tackle and shoot.
He's right they're running about more but a bit like headless chickens.
