Can you afford to sack him, five year contract that you would have to pay up, no CL next year, finances probably already maxed out with your ridiculous spending. He's there for the foreseeable surely.

This game & the Dortmund one have told me something about him. He's a terrific player but my god he's vulnerable in transition.

He's gunna become a #8. Whether Potter does it or the next guy, can't really be a PL holding player & not be able to deal with turnovers.

Fair enough but for the money I was expecting a real top player

He seemed to hide a bit which was surprising as usually South Americans like a rough match

We're gunna get the Pogba effect with him I think. I've got no doubt he'll be our best midfielder for a long time but he'll never be worth that money, which most Chelsea fans knew tbf.
