Fulham 10 shots 3 on target.
Leeds 22 shots 6 on target.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Difference is their shots on target were right in the far corner of the net no chance for our keeper. Ours were all in easy reach of their keeper/defenders

Id be more upset if it was the Prem and we had dropped points. We learn from this and move on. Rutter i thought looked decent. Harrison looked okay when he came on. Midfield needs a lot of work.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah just can’t continue with essentially 3 defensive mid fielders hopefully manager figures it out
Just not enough goals in this side. Of the starting 11, only Gnonto and maybe Summerville you’d back to take a chance when they get one,
So funny the way the players weren't as frantic as they're known to have been, had a couple off goals ruled out that at least one might have been good, hit a these days post and bounced out the wrong way,(the old posts that would have bounced in!)and had 2 against goals that would have won any game scored against others get the same crap they've had for most off the season!..
Our coach is only just getting to grips with the players and you can see an improvement in his first two games, there is still work to be done but he and the players should be given a chance to get it together!..
I've said all along I don't think we'll go down, and I'm less worried now than the first time I said it!..

Sadly cannot see us scoring many goals as we are just now so hammering anyone looks unlikely

Is everyone else watching the same game as me?
New manager has been here a few days and there's already so many improvements.
Result is crap but plenty of positives and miles off embarrassing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agreed overall, kept giving Fulham problems in midfield right to the end. Plenty of tidy aggressive moves.
Not to be but a decent performance.
Silly mistake for their first from Adams. He had a much easier ball to his right.
Second goal just wasn’t close down. Cooper would have put his body on the line to stop that.
Big game tomorrow - come on Arsenal !!!
We missed Wober a lot tonight. Calming influence at the back.

Just seen the result and it always hurts to lose but looking at the stats as I've not seen the game looks like we played alright and we just couldn't convert the many chances we had.... a lot more than Fulham who are 6th in the EPL so I'm quite conforted by that and hopefully Saturday our luck is better.
Our last three shots from McKennie, Aaronson and Adams were simple slot-ins that my teenage son could score blindfolded after waking up in a pool of his own vomit after 20 bottles of alcopop, and a triple strength Vindaloo from the takeaway.

Should have won this game with the chances we’ve squandered

Sadly you can say that about a significant number of our draws and defeats this season

I'd feel sorry for the others on the pitch if they had to wade through that lot!..
But where would he learn to do that sort off thing?..
It's all in the parenting, Germany. It's taken a lot of hard work to get him to this level.
Time to face the fact that Pat Bamford is ineffective up front against decent Prem defenders.
He looked great vs Accrington Stanley, though.
Despite his row-Zedder, I think Jack showed a fair bit of his best pace, determination and fast footwork tonight. If he can give more of that it might be an idea to start him with licence to go full-tilt for an hour, then send Willie Gnonto on to make mincemeat of tired defenders?
For what it's worth, tonight at 1-0 down I'd have taken Rasmus off and added Darko Gyabi to the midfield mix, he can play some excellent passes and stick out a long leg to win a ball cleanly.
Very disappointed. I thought the lads played well, but why can’t anybody score goals? Do they practise shooting (on target) in training? I think they need to give shooting some serious attention. It’s ridiculous to miss so many chances in a match. I just hope we find Chelsea to be easier opposition at the weekend. Oh, and I hope to goodness we finally get a decent referee. Our first goal should have stood.

Yeah I feel Gnonto needs a rest too unfair to put all the weight of expectations on him people always say young players are inconsistent and need their playing time properly managed ….I think now is the time like you say to use him as a impact sub
Absolutely gutted
Referee bought an exagerated movement by Wilson on the "push" and VAR checked it for about 5 seconds. So frustrating because its so inconsistent. We will see an exact same "push" this weekend and the goal will be given. When you recall the Spurs goal when Meslier was pushed literally into the back of the net and was not chalked off and this one is its absolutely ridiculous.
From there Fulham somehow score two goals from 0.20xg helped by an awful pass from Adams, and the laziness of Summerville who every game fails to close wingers down quick enough.
Dream is over for another year. Absolutely gutted.
Big plus tonight definitely Rutter. First start against Premiership opposition & he was a shocking ref & a coat of paint away from having 2 to his name.
The decision to disallow the goal was absolutely diabolical. If you really watch Wilson's dive it was Gordon Watson-esque. It really was that bad. For VAR not to overturn that you end up with more questions than answers.
The free-kick leading to their second goal was also a shockingly bad decision.
Mr Kavanagh was the man in black when Chelsea's man of the match against us at Stamford Bridge last season. I hope it's a very long time before we see him again.
On a different note, looking at our midfield tonight I'm even more baffled as to how & why we let Klich go.

Total neutral, who really enjoyed the game. Thought Leeds were the better team for fair chunks of the game, until the final most important bit, but you had loads of decent approach play.

Just come in and watched the highlights. Is it me or was Meslier a bag of sh!te in goal. Those two shots were taken from so far out, he surely had them covered. It was like they went through his arms. Attack-wise, we looked lively up front but again, when it comes to putting it in the net, we are totally clueless. Having said that, we were robbed of a goal but tbh you don't expect much from the ref when playing away from home.
