Would love to see that and give Kane a rest but doubt it will happen.
I'd rest more.
Forster
Porro Sanchez Dier Lenglet Perisic
Sarr Skipp
Danjuma Richarlison Son
Would be tempted to keep Romero in as Sanchez is awful, but think he needs to be protected. Apart from Sanchez I think that team is pretty good and should be fine.
That team makes sense !!
I'd like to see Kane start on the bench too. He plays far too much football & it would be good to see Richie get some minutes playing as the central striker with Kane as an option of the bench if it all goes wrong.
2 things to consider....
1) We play Wolves on Sat and are in good shape for top 4... Lots of winnable games coming up. Given some of our injuries, are the back ups good enough/ overall squad strong enough to fight on 2 fronts ?
2) with the above said, Do we have a better chance of top 4 or winning the Cup ? Can we do both ? & which one would you take if you could only have 1 ?

Pretty much agree with that team. Porro, Sarr and Danjuma should all feature.
I definitely think Conte needs to trust the squad more.
The likes of Richarlison, Porro, Sarr, Skipp and even Danjuma are good players and deserve minutes.
I feel the likes of Hoijberg and Son go through bad spells as they get run into the ground. With good squad replacements I think we can afford to rotate a bit more now.
I'm really nervous about wholesale changes for this one. They're comfortably 2nd in the Championship which means they don't need to rest players for the league. They're no mugs at all so making so many changes is a recipe for disaster in my opinion. I would make 2 changes at most. If we win this we're in the quarters when most of the top teams are out. We're never going to get a better opportunity.
I'll be absolutely furious if he rests a load of players and we limp out. Absolutely furious.

Oh, shut up Sandy!
You were always banging on about there being no need to rotate in cup games so why not shut your fecking cakehole for once?! The hypocrisy is astounding.
The game against Milan is NOT more important at all. We have no chance of winning the CL. Absolutely no chance at all so the only thing to be gained from getting past Milan is a couple of million for qualifying for the next round. It'll be meaningless. At least we can actually win the FA Cup, with so many big teams now out.
Of course this fool fridge forgets Poch leaving Eriksen out of the team and us getting dumped out of the FA cup by Palace twice. Such a great record in the FA Cup.
Whilst I would love us to rotate players and utilise the squad I'm always wary because when we do we lose. It's been the stories of our cup runs over the last 20 odd years
Proper six pointer this one.

Probably because under him we stood a chance of winning the league or the Champions League. Now we have to prioritise the FA Cup as we can't win dicccck all else.
And anyway, you were screaming for us to stick with the same team at the time, so why the sudden change of heart? Probably because you haven't got Poch the whipping boy to needlessly take it all out on.
Honestly, you don't have any integrity Sandy. You just flip-flop with your opinions desperately trying to walk the road less travelled. If the consensus says white, you say black. You don't care about right or wrong. You're just a contrary Mary.
Danjuma start please. Don’t care what way, he needs a start. Possibly in place Of Richarlison ? Then bring Richy back for Wolves
Its time Tottenham won the FA cup, I remember the days when we had won it more times than anyone else. I would be happy to prioritise this match above the next two
Poch made 7 changes in his last FA cup game, won us nothing with the strongest spurs team in modern history and Fridge still thinks he's a genius

You're complaining about changes to the team yet this is what Poch used to do and won us nothing. Are you furious about that?

What I'm saying is that in an age where we're not good enough to win anything other than the FA Cup, it makes sense to prioritise it. Under Poch we were infinitely better, and had a real chance at winning both the league and the CL at various times. That's the difference.

No I don't. At no point have I said I expect him to win a trophy. You're the one obsessed with trophies. I've never used silverware as a barometer for progress. I expect to see the progress on the pitch and frankly I don't see it. We're now worse than we were at the tail end of last year.
Poch was building something huge and the club failed to back him when he'd proved his credentials. Conte expects the club to back him BEFORE he's even proved what he can do with the current squad. Of the two managers, only one has proved he's worth backing. If Poch didn't win anything it's because the club let him down. He didn't get backed even close to the levels Conte and Jose were.
