What I'm saying is that in an age where we're not good enough to win anything other than the FA Cup, it makes sense to prioritise it. Under Poch we were infinitely better, and had a real chance at winning both the league and the CL at various times. That's the difference.

You never know with Sandy as 9 times out of 10 he’s on the wind up. He probably does think Emerson and Sanchez are the 2nd coming, but it accelerates those views even more when other people are against it. Go against the grain Sandy the cover is usually blown pretty quickly because he can’t help himself say and have the exact same opinions as Sandy, then it becomes obvious. Why would “Sock” in particular have an issue with Fridgeboy in the same way Sandy does and like you say Pochettino? Unless as we all know for a fact, it’s the same person. We got to the EFL Cup semi and the CL final in that very same season so we had other priorities.
Kane, Son and Alli were all injured for that Palace game so we were naturally more blunt up top.
Julian Speroni, the Palace goalkeeper, was MOTM that days. When have you ever said that about an opposition keeper of late?
With a much changed side these were the stats...
Possession - Palace 28%, Spurs 72%
Shots - Palace 8, Spurs 19
When was the last time you saw those kind of stats from a Spurs side, let alone one without it's best players
We had to play nearly all of that season away from home, at Wembley, too.
Do your research before spouting your garbage Sandy. Teams can lose matches. It happens. It's whether or not you deserved to lose is the point and it seems we didn't.
Anyway, don't come at me about going out in the fifth round of the cup when a few months later we're beating the world's best to get to a CL final.
So which did he prioritise fridge, the league cup, top 4, the league, the CL?
And what was the outcome from.that decision?

Sorry but fridge is just a joker. By the time we played Palace in the FA cup in 2019 we were out of the league cup, struggling for top 4, nobody gave us a chance at the CL. Exactly the same position as we are in now.

We’ve gone out at the 5th round stage the last 3 years running - Norwich, Boro and Burnley, all because we fart aersed about with the starting line up.
This competition is there to be won this year - United might be knackered going into Wednesday, wouldn’t put it past West Ham beating them - we could be left with only really wanting to avoid one side in the QF draw and hoping we get drawn at home also.
Also we need to keep momentum going - Wolves play tomorrow night aswell do they get no more of a rest than we do and after that it will hopefully be an electric atmosphere against Milan.
Then Forest at home and if we’ve done the job against Sheff U then it will be the QF tie before the international break - this is the run of fixtures this season (in terms of the league) where I fancied us the most, it’s key we keep the momentum going and knock Liverpool fully out of the running for top 4.
Finish 4th, CL QF and win the FA cup and Conte goes down as our best manager since Burkinshaw

I thought Sandy was the only Spurs fan in the world that thought Poch was rubbish. What a small world it is when you see that this sock guy doesn't rate him either.

I do wonder if he genuinely shares these opinions on Spurs or just doing it for the lols. I mean not rating Poch, rating Levy, being critical of Kane, singing Sanchez's praises...I can't believe a Spurs fan has these opinions. He might even start to lay into Emerson now he's become good.

A couple of changes to keep things fresh but more or less the 1st team.
We’ve gone out at the 5th round stage the last 3 years running - Norwich, Boro and Burnley, all because we fart aersed about with the starting line up.
This competition is there to be won this year - United might be knackered going into Wednesday, wouldn’t put it past West Ham beating them - we could be left with only really wanting to avoid one side in the QF draw and hoping we get drawn at home also.
Also we need to keep momentum going - Wolves play tomorrow night aswell do they get no more of a rest than we do and after that it will hopefully be an electric atmosphere against Milan.
Then Forest at home and if we’ve done the job against Sheff U then it will be the QF tie before the international break - this is the run of fixtures this season (in terms of the league) where I fancied us the most, it’s key we keep the momentum going and knock Liverpool fully out of the running for top 4.
Finish 4th, CL QF and win the FA cup and Conte goes down as our best manager since Burkinshaw
