Quite disgusting performance especially first half.
Blackburn deserved it,like watching a good championship team against a poor championship team.
He should be sacked immediately.

Why are you even bothering to utter the words. When are you going to get it? If he’s not going to be sacked after losing us 7 games in a row and turning us into relegation candidates then he’s certainly not going to be potted after losing an FA cup tie to a championship side

Let’s not forget that it was Top who persuaded his father to “unsack” Pearson in Feb 2015, the rest, as they say, is history. Perhaps Top hoping for a decent cup run and tonight’s result will force his hand. If he’s lost interest and wants to sell then he must want to sell a Premiership team. Rodgers days must be numbered now.

I’d love to believe that Bowstring. I just think if Top was that worried about losing premier league status he would have acted in October. I think Top is utterly deluded. I don’t think he sees the danger - I think he feels Rodgers is an elite manager who hasn’t had the funds which is why we’re struggling.

He will back him in the summer and it’s a position we won’t recover from for many years. The fans will forever blame Rodgers but there’s only one person who can be held responsible

It's too late already really Mersey, the momentum has gone from us pushing for Europe, the Rodgers Cancer has spread through the Club and it's going to be a long road back to where we were, almost impossible and definitely a lot harder than than the first time, not likely to be a Pearson about to build the Club again.

It was a Great Ride while it lasted though

Can anybody explain what might have been in Brendan's mind pulling Tete off after he set Barnes up for the run leading to the goal? One of the few bits of quality from us all night leads to him being subbed? I'm at a loss to think of anything cogent. Also why leave it late making subs, that first half was so bad it was crying out for half time subs? I genuinely thought that Thomas ought to have been changed after 15 minutes, he was that poor.

Ah well, concentrate on the League I suppose. Massive game coming up against the Saints.

I literally held my head in my hands at the end of that debacle. This was the last chance to bring a glimpse of sunshine to what has been very much an overcast season. Just look at Rodgers. Does he ever show any sign of emotion? Some of our bosses over the years would have been raging, or at the very least, appearing to be ready to blow their tops following this awful showing. They should have gone out there and wiped the floor with Blackburn. Instead, it was just another case of “I’m your friendly Brendan” yet again at the end. A handshake, of course, but I hope he got stuck into some of our players afterwards. I doubt it ever happened.

It was a bad team selection to begin with and those substitutions came too late to have a lasting impact on the final outcome. What was Mendy up to kicking/stamping whatever one of their players towards the end? Madness, and all totally unnecessary.

Thank goodness City picked up invaluable points against Aston Villa and Spurs, that’s all I can say.

Rogers won't be sacked. He'll wait until we're relegated and then walk. That's the kind of guy he is.

It’s almost like he’s trying to throw the game with every sub he makes. It’s so weird. Tete was one of our most dangerous players, pulling the defence out of shape and then freeing up Barnes. Taking him off when we needed a goal was just inexcusable

At Least the spudds can always make us feel better about ourselves, even if it's only slightly.
