Get Tim Henman here!

Not sure what others saw but I saw a team that were playing more controlled and not the frantic, throw it everywhere football they've been playing for months now!..

The new coach has had 2 games and brought a bit of ease to their game, I think the more he works with these players the more he'll get out of them!..

I think we'll get more than 1 from the next 4 games!..

it didnt look that way from second half and indeed the commentators spoke very differently about the performance in second half.

I only had second half to go on!

Then to be fair you've lost 50% of the context ... even your original comment reflects on thoughts from commentators as you were listening. We were unlucky to be behind at 1/2 time (and full time in my view).

The notion that we'd dominate for 90mins against a good team like Fulham, or the vast majority of Prem teams seems a bit unrealistic for me. For sure 2nd half Fulham had more control and indeed did get through us from time to time, but we also created enough chances ourselves to have been in the hat for the next round, purely on 2nd half chances.

Overall not a bad performance at all I thought - though I thought Adams had his poorest game yet by the standards he's set up to now.

Think they had two shots on goal all game and scored both we had a million and couldnt hit a barn door from 5 yards, some of the goal mouth scrambles in the 2nd half were farcical, if we do end up in deep trouble our failiure to score will be our downfall.
I thought Rutters disallowed goal was a poor decision score that and we go on to win imo.
i think the manager will improve things and get the best out of our squad which isnt as bad as people make out,
Everton and Wolves both play tonight and shouldnt win they will both then have played a game more than us which is Forest at home.
For what its worth i would give the manager a proper contract and let him get on with it.

"You couldn't hit a barn door from 5 yards" !

their won't be many goals on Saturday then !
nor can we !

Surprised to be saying this but I thought Aaronson looked quite dangerous when he came on.

Beaten by two outstanding well taken and placed shots - to repeat from previous thread difference was lack of clinical finishing nothing else.

Headless chicken syndrome was not in evidence last night.

Vof not expecting us to dominate for 90 mins but first half commentary made it sound like we were world beaters.

Second half completely different match to watch.

We can keep saying we created loads of chances (let’s remember in some games we have zero shots on goal) but that is cold comfort if we go down.

Gracia has big task, let’s not hide that and he has my full support!

Thought he looked quite lively last two games

Goals change games, if we had of scored first ( the disallowed goal I thought was 50/50) then the pace we had on the break would have made it hard for Fulham.

Thought mckennie had a very good first half, then faded

I think you have a very negative attitude and look for the worst in most games Jonty. As though you take great pleasure in us not doing well.
Fulham had three significant attacks and scored from two.
For a lot of the game I felt we were the better team just didn't take our chances.
And like you I have been critical of Rutter but felt he did OK last night. Unlucky not to have a brace.

Try just watching second half, all the commentators were saying were that Leeds were never going to score, here we go good position they're going to hit it wide, etc etc.

Fulham made 7 changes last night.

Thought we played well for the most part. But having the most chances, and going behind to the opponents first chance… usually off the back of a defensive error. That is a season long habit.

We did play ok for large periods of the game. Unfortunately we don’t have a clinical finisher. And that adds up to the story of many games this year. The other team score from a mistake against the run of play.
Not a good combination.
I really hope Javi can turn this around….but all the information we have is staring at us.

I do think that Gracia is slowly but surely managing to turn the limping 'Super tanker' and point it in the correct direction.

I have seen more calmness and control in the last couple of games than during most of Marsch's tenure.

Jonty, can I suggest that next time you watch the game on I-player or record it and watch the whole game not just base your assessment on a snippet.

Or maybe retitle your article "Thoughts from some of last night because I couldn't be bothered to watch the whole thing"

Roca, Mckennie, Aaronson and Adams average 1 goal every 15 games between them which doesnt help, in contrast Batty, Speed, Mcallister and Strachan 1 in 6 and even Bowyer, Dacourt and Bakke 1 in 10.

It's not a popular opinion rev, but i'll say it regardless... i think how calm we are, how measured our approach looks is an irrelevamce.

There are different style of play... what the coach largely influences is how many chances we make or concede, what the players largely influence is how many of those chances we turn into goals at either end.

For all the headless chicken stuff, we've been on the right side of the stats and the wrong side of results on so many occasions this season it beggars belief. We present chances to opponents and they seem to take them with monotonous regularity, meanwhile we create them and don't.

There's some bad luck in their but there's also the reality that we're good between the two boxes and poor in the two boxes.

Let's hope Javi's magic wand is in full working order.

Don't forget Paul Robinson, 1 in 100 for us.

Really needs Meslier to chip in.
