I don't see the point. I've stopped going and don't even watch every game on TV anymore.
4 years of insipid football now. Club completely directionless. Yet another managerial change in the summer.
I get more joy watching my local Isthmian league side.
More fool you mate for wasting your money
I have no doubt it must be a job of work watching your team at times, think that goes for damn near every fan of every club though at times?
As much as we can enjoy certain times it can also make your week/month, even year miserable but we stick with it for some reason, sure you will still be a Spurs fan for the foreseeable and you never know it might change before you know it
another insipid, pathetic, juvenile, spursy mess of a performance from spurs on and off the pitch.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am still absolutely furious at last night. Me and you have argued over rotation a 100 times in the past you accept it I dont. We were in with a genuine chance of winning the FA Cup or at least of reaching the final and we lined up like that. You can see on the match thread I was not happy before the game but by the end of it I was furious.
Typical boring, turgid, predictable crap football from Conte and IMO the sooner he is sacked the better. No more excuses, no more Levy never got him the players he wanted. Get shot of him once and for all.
We used to take the pee out of woolwich for celebrating the "we came 4th trophy" every year and now we are doing exactly the same thing. Disgraceful and disgusting.

have to agree about the management. Conte isnt the man for us. if we wont win things then we have to at least play progressive football as a minimum

It is getting to the point whereby the games are unwatchable.
I was annoyed, but if I was you after all that effort to get to the game and seeing the lack of effort at every level, I, too would be furious.
Feel for you Chronic. Those away fans last night didn't deserve that. You lot were vocal throughout.
It's at the stage now where a walkout wouldn't go amiss. Stop turning up. Refuse to renew your season tickets. There might be a massive queue behind you ready to take it but eventually those seats will begin to empty. It's the only way of scaring the ownership into doing something about it.
We need a new defence, a new goalkeeper, a creative midfielder, a new striker (to replace Kane) AND a new manager and coaching staff, a new direction for the club and eventually a new fecking owner.
There is so much to dissect and rip apart I don't see how any of it is done whilst maintaining a grip on the top six teams. I think now Kane is off, we're about to hit another bleak period for the club, akin to the mid-nineties and early 2000s. I remember when we had to win at Oldham to guarantee survival in about 93-94. I honestly think that's where this club is headed.
If we're going that way with no hope in hell of winning anything, can we please get someone in that likes to play good football, for christ's sake.
I dropped my ST at the end of last season. After 9 years.
I now have a ST at my local Isthmian South East club and absolutely love it.
Best decision I have made in football in a long time. I am proud I stood up for what I believe is right, I don't care if others take my place, I have done all I can do.

Agreed. I barely go anymore mate. I certainly wouldn’t waste my money filling these owners pockets travelling up North. I have been Blackpool, Sunderland and Wigan etc to see Spurs play so nobody could ever accuse me of never spending money, but i have had enough of Daniel Levy and the owners. Literally sick of it.

Says the Man City fan
When was your last miserable evening? 2009 or something like that?
I don’t think any other decent manager would come to Tottenham Hotspur entertainment industry plc. Look at how they struggled to recruit after they sacked Jose. Pretty much every manager worth his salt turned the club down, including conte.
There is no intention or ambition from levy to win trophies. So why would anyone want to go there?
Tottenham Hotspur are a fa cking joke. More interested in go carting than football. I hope Kane goes. I’ve given up with spurs. I actually feel a deep resentment to them. Levy has done that. He has drained any enjoyment out of supporting spurs. You are nothing but customers to him and Enic. If you don’t go the next mug will turn up. Just read the Last statement to the supporters trust. It’s so cold. So corporate.
I’ve stopped my kids supporting this rotten club. I’m taking them to my local side where there is a genuine family atmosphere, reasonable pricing (I can even afford the teamstrip) and the football is ok.
I fa cking hate spurs right now. The glorious club I grew up with, that my grandfather went to watch, that played wonderful ambitious football no longer exists. In it’s place is a corporate soulless exhibition centre.
I will not support Enic or levy. I mourn my club. What’s the point on shelling out time, emotional investment and hard earned cash on a club that just wants to come fourth so they can get into a competition they have no ambition to ever win, just so that they can make a few quid?
It’s completely mental and I see through it. I feel enlightened.
Fack levy, fack Enic and fack you spurs.
I feel for those of you that are still deep in the whirlpool of hope and denial. Apart from Sandy, he’s a clown.
I’m playing darts later down the local footy club, I’ve told them I don’t support anyone in the top flight as my club isn’t there anymore, and you know what, I’m not even fibbing.

The only positive I would take is that it doesn't take much to turn things around. A good manager, a loyal and front foot style manager, like Poch, who would come back, has to be the first step. If we then get recruitment right and have a bit of patience, we could get back to where we should be.
The squad just isn't good enough overall and hasn't been for years. Far too many misses over hits when it comes to recruitment, and not just in players but managers also. With so many poor decisions that start at the top it really isn't any wonder we have failed to improve on 1 trophy in 2 decades, while being a big club for 3 quarters of that.
But I totally understand why you've checked out. Doing so stops emotion and if the overriding emotion supporting Spurs is despair, then you've made a positive decision for your life.
