My reservations about Felix...

Fortunately this is only a loan move (without obligation), much better served using the funds on re-signing elite skillsetted striker in Tammy, with Nkunku as Felix' replacement in the summer.
£100m+ would be a momumental waste of expenditure on Felix.

He’s your best player so no surprise you don’t rate him

He’s no CHO, right CHO?

His talent is clear to see but I’m also seeing myself some of the criticisms given before towards him to his game. He doesn’t really suit any position. His passing isn’t good enough for no.10, he’s not incisive or prolific enough as a strike or second striker (although he did show this side initially at Benfica), not pacy or aggressive enough to really be a winger. His best moments in games come with his dribbling moments in central areas, but what else is there?

He shoots from outside of the box 8/10 times they are on target too hes had disallowed goals hit the woodword several times and scored his first goal, if we dont sell odoi and gallagher and keep Felix then we truly dont know what we are doing. id love us to sell cucarella agin and bring ian maatsen back. that should raise what we need to keep Felix

You have a bare in mind Simeone's been his trainer for the last three & a half years. Expecting him to be dynamic (which comparatively to the rest of our attack he is tbh) right away is unrealistic.

I'd happily take him permanently. I'd say price is conditional to that but with Boehly I'm not kidding myself

Still trying to work out OP's deliberately erroneous statements,
So willing to knowingly embarrass self...so whats the agenda?

Thankfully Todd & co. appear to have a good head on their shoulders and I'm sure they wouldn't agree to Atletico' demands or splurge such an astronomical amount on Felix...particularly as Felix couldn't be tied down to a 7 year+ contract.

Tammy + midfielder or goalkeeper for the same amount = wise

I think he’s been the mainly only bright spark in an awful attack. Can’t help playing with havertz. Using havertx as a guide, Felix is a better passer, better on the ball, better shot, more creative, better vision and better under pressure. He’s been a key spark and only just got to the team in a new country.

Does seem rather obsessed with Havertz tbf. Reminds me of my Costa is sh!t & I'm the only one who sees it obsession

Wait til you hear my thoughts about sterling if you think I dont like havertz, sterlings been getting it for 5 years

but also, everything I said is true tbf

To be fair I don't get Havertz? whenever I've watched him to doesn't seem to be anything special.

That said you guys watch him far more than I and I might be missing something about his game? Felix clearly has skills but as mentioned for what position specifically and where does he fit in for Chelsea, not worth the 100m if that would be the price imo anyway

posted on 6/3/23

No, not missing anything. I think he would be sold by now if not for the cl final goal.

Sterling's just meh. Everything about him is meh. Not a great player, not a bad player, not the worst to watch, not the best. Just thinking about him makes me bored

I think he looked quite bright first half at the weekend but ye I think he’s stolen a career at the level he’s been at

He's done better than I thought he would. When he was at Liverpool I saw the next Wright-Phillips, classic flash in the pan who had nothing but pace. Guardiola crafted him into a decent all round attacker.

I wouldn't even call him overrated as most people seem to be split on him, possibly underrated actually, but he's just not interesting to me. A proper opta stats generation player, functional but not exciting.

Well considering CHO is worth at least £150m we should be able to do a straight swap CHO for Felix.

If Cmf doesn't rate Felix that means he's brilliant
