Been the biggest concern this year.
We genuinely have about two world-class players in the team that have performed at the highest level consistently for a number of seasons.
It will be a humbling experience, even for our fans and the media. Hopefully in the long run, this will minimise expectations and we stay grounded.

How you read that line to mean that only you know. I have actually not said much about Shaw at all. I have commented a lot about Bruno as I felt a lot of nonsense was being written about his form and Ronaldo. Now, it may be true he has kicked on since he left, good for ETH and good for us I suppose. I would be very concerned if we have players that can't standup and puff their chest out to their colleagues.
No matter how good a leader Keane was, read Ferguson's book, unlike say Neville, we had the likes of Edwin, Ruud, Rooney who stood up and told him to stick where the sun does not shine at times.

I don’t see it. I judge world class players on big games, when the big games come, especially away, Luke shaw looks like a pub player. The beating saka gave him if that was a boxing match early stoppage
Can’t remember who it was but someone here was claiming that Luke Shaw was mentionable in the same breath as Dennis Irwin as Mr Consistent. I couldn’t believe what I was reading but he really isn’t all that consistent by any means.
Luke Shaw was a massive doubt for the game all week. Might have been rushed back because of the occasion. Had it been Southampton at home which is our next PL game he may have been saved.
These things happen. Shaw is the least of our worries. The right backs are far worse, Antony is dreadful and Weghorst can't run or do much really can he?
As for Bruno.....he's being overplayed. Seems to play every single game no matter. He needs taking out of the team for a bit. It won't happen though.
