7-0 or Energy drink cup?

I'd take winners medals over 3 PTS any day of the week. Don't forget we still have a chance at 2 more as well. You have as much chance at the CL as we do. 😂

If you said to me at start of season that we'd finish above you, which we still are favs to do, and win a trophy and you lot won nothing then I'd have been over the moon.

What day is the bus parade?

We don't need a bus parade. We are just happy that the 7-0 is locked in your memory for the rest of your life

Well, I’d take the cup obviously as it’s a trophy which goes in the history books
You can keep your 3 Pts, and we’ll keep our 3 Pts we took off you earlier in the season

A trophy or 3 points? Wow tough one.

It’s been a downright horrendous season, it really has especially after last year. Our worst season under Klopp by a decent margin and yet still only 7 points behind United who are lauding that as some kind of achievement

I expect that gap to narrow in the coming weeks as well.

The 7-0 will live a lot longer in the memory than your Carabao Cup win, be assured of that.

You are not physically taking the cup home with you. That will go to the Glazers and team.

This is more about the result. We beat Chelsea last year and it was out of my system within hours.

7-0 will NEVER leave us. Enjoy

if your picking the 7-0 win the you have a very small mind.

the game is all about winning things, anything can happen in a one off game its the season that defines them

For a league title, sure. But the Carabao Cup? Most forgettable trophy in English football.

I forgot we won it last year

so what your saying is that you would take a 7-0 win in the league that doesnt really change anything over, beating them 1-0 in a champ league final in a horrible tight and scrappy match that neither team looks good in?

are you 10?

You think you've written a real "gotcha" article, but it really just sounds kinda sad.

I'd take a cup all day long, it's a complete no brainer. Every team has an off day.

We've been nowhere near you for 5 years and in August nobody gave Utd or Arsenal for that matter a prayer at finishing above you or City.

Normally we wouldn't celebrate it. You're a team that have won 1 league title in 33 years after all.

Did I mention CL?

I'm comparing it to a league cup which we have won the most.

Oh the 7-0 is in the history books too. A record breaker of a result.

I'm sure in ten years time people will be able to rattle off who won the 2023 Carabou Cup.

Southampton and Spurs have scored 6 against us in the PL era. We tend to have those type of days.

We also tend to have 13 PL winning seasons too. 😉

By next season, it will be something you occasionally chant in 2 games a season.

Enjoy it, you played well and we were terrible, but this article and concept is really embarrassing for a club like Liverpool.

Sunday's game will be more memorable but I'd take a trophy (even the League Cup) over a single league result which has little impact on either side's league position tbf.

I think it's a great result for Liverpool and their highlight in what has been a very poor season. I'm sure most of their fans would prefer to be fighting for honours though.

no I asked the question hence the question mark, but im also establishing what is more important the gloat of a big win or the gloat of winning something.

but ok I will make it more relevant.

you would rather be in 5th in the league than 6th over winning the league cup?

cos thats all that the win equated to as things stand the difference between 5th and 6th.

Do the club have a room set aside to showcase the games they won 7-0 or do they have a room to showcase the trophies they win?
