No evident coaching on passing

Your CM positions without Bentancur lack a wee bit creativity, a player who can turn defenses with a pass or run at them and make them turn

The forwards, and imo only might not make runs that open it up as they don't feel the pass is coming?

Get Bentancur back and one other CM things could easily change

Bents is out until November, and even then, will take weeks/months to recover fully, if ever.

Honestly, what exactly does Conte coach from an attacking perspective?

The bloke is the most overrated manager we have ever had. At least with Jose we knew what the plan was when attacking and to be fair it worked.

Conte doesn't coach. He doesn't improve players is teams, he just seems to be able to work with the best teams and get a tune out of them for 1 or 2 seasons.

I don't get why he is still in a job this morning. What is Levy waiting for.

Possible a top 4 finish. And not wanting to pay him off. Probably walks in summer anyway after scraping top 4. Teams around all have a few losses in them as well.

Instead just concentrating on slating the manager, who has been left by the club to hang himself dry, and which is such a lazy thing to do, you need to look at the club. It is rotten at the core. A chairman who prefers to go to Caribbeans rather than work with his staff to look through what the manager has asked for and secure the players. Instead he gets Danjuma, who the manager then refuses to play.
Sam story with Emerson, Gio, same with that Forest lad.

This chairman is far from being innocent and he has the blood of this club all over him

Sacked a manager 6 days before a chance to win a trophy tells you all you need to know.

However, lazy Spurs fan want to see the manager hang for this.

You could bring both Pep and Klopp and they would ZILCH under Levy.

In fact, they would both run away a mile rather than have him as a boss.

I am not a fan of Conte but i will always back any manager but I have seen the root cause of what is happening at the club, and it is Daniel Levy.

We all know ENIC and Levy are cants when it comes to the football side of the club. Can't believe I'm even writing that.

But Conte serves up the dross we see week in week out.

Honestly, I don't want top 4 if we play this standard of football. It's frankly embarrasing and doesn't do the club well at all either.

For the roughly 12 millionth time, it doesn't have to be Levy OR Conte. It's both. They're not mutually exclusive.

I actually don't believe this. Klopp ans Guardiola would get better out of these players.

Conte has taken our weakness..which is defending and made it the core of our strategy. This is inexcusable.

I want Davies, Dier and Sanchez gone before Conte but sadly this won't happen thanks to Levys thirst for money.

Dier and Davies should jot be given new contracts. They should be at least allowed to sweat it out until their final.months.

Yeah, ruptured ACL so even after he's back it'll be a long while before he's fully up to speed again, assuming he ever is

With that particular injury it is a real concern pity that as he looked like a piece of the jigsaw that you needed?

Yeah, he's a class player. Press-resistant, good passer, excellent with ball at feet in transition - the only player of his type in the squad since Bissouma has fallen apart under Conte. He's badly missed. Easily Spurs' best midfielder and comfortably one of the three best players in the squad (Kane and Romero being the others now that Son appears to have lost it and Kulusevski has lost his early form)

There is no way either of them would get anything out of Dier, Davies, Sanchez or Emerson. There is a reason why Emerson was not looked at by another club and specially his old club when he was due to return to them.

There is no way they would succeed. That is why they spend big on players so they don't get rubbish ones like we do.

Not particularly a Levy fanboy but it wasn't Levy who put Sanchez on last night when we needed a goal...and this is certainly down to Conte...I mean...WTF????

What Spurs supporters need to understand is the hierarchy at the Club. Yes DL is the Chairman and has the Board reporting in to him.
Paratici is Managing Director of football, everything concerned with the training, match day squads, development and scouting comes under his purview.
Whilst he reports into DL, he has a strong mandate to run the footballing side as he sees fit.

The misconception fans have is that DL has day to day control of football matters, he doesn’t and that is why DL only gets involved when he has meetings with Paratici & possibly Conte.

Whether we like it or not, we are now a major business with formal processes in place.
Yes we have a magnificent new ground, designed to be a major revenue machine in the years to come. This is where DL thrives, driving revenue streams to ensure that the club is not dependent on purely football to survive in a cut throat arena.

Gone are the days when clubs were owned by local businessmen who enjoyed having the local team as his hobby and the kudos that came with it.

Spurs are a well oiled machine and along with Arsenal run financially better than most clubs around.
It is on the pitch that our prospects do not match the rest of the clubs profile.

Sorry to ramble on but this is just my perspective on things.

Regarding last nights substation that followed Romeo’s dismissal, even my partner (she is not a big fan of football) wanted to know why Conte was bringing on a defender when we needed a goal at the very least. She said it doesn’t matter whether it’s 1-0 or 3-0 we have still lost and putting another attacker on might be more beneficial to us.
