Can't believe Brighton have failed to capitalise on Miserypool's capitulation at the hands of mighty Bournemouth.
Still, at least Spurs won

Are we at the stage now where we're so confident of top four that we are happy to pick and choose which team gets the last place?
It’s a shame Brighton drop so many silly points, would be amazing it they could get top four.

Probably not, no.
But seeing as I can't influence these things either way, all I can do is hope we keep on winning and teams like Bournemouth keep on beating Liverpool
I can’t see us dropping out of the top four. I don’t see two teams below us capable of taking enough points to put us out of it.

I'm kind of torn on the top four race. It'd be hilarious if Liverpool didn't make it but Spurs are the most likely beneficiaries. That'd make any potential Kane purchase much more difficult.

Yeah, but Liverpool finishing outside the top four is funny.

Yes. We can get another striker.
What would be better though is Newcastle or someone sneaking fourth.

I'd worry about who they could buy with CL football and guaranteed additional revenues. Spurs getting top 4 would be my preference tbh.
They may get it too, as Conte specialises in one game a week football

True. Although I think it'll be difficult for Newcastle with the extra European games. If we get it right we should fear no one. I certainly don't think they'd get someone in we want if it was a choice between the two clubs.
Spurs have a decent fixture list as well. If Spurs can go to Anfield with a bit of a points cushion they’d be very well placed for top four.
Liverpool’s next four games are City and Chelsea away, Arsenal and home and then Leeds away. With their away form that’s tough.
We have Conte’s ideal fixture list now
