Just on Felix , how unlucky is that guy, could be on about 10 goals if things had gone slightly different for him. Must say I've been very impressed with him, I didn't realise just how talented he was

I don’t think Gallagher improved the system that much
--------
I thought he did...He put himself about, breaking up Leicester attacks and winning balls back.
So strange how we both saw the same match and see it so differently.
I was not happy to see Felix come off...but it did look like we were more in control of the latter parts of the match....
Think bringing on Gallagher ( with hindsight) was genius.

My thoughts as well , full credit to Connor he gives our team passion and vibrancy, and that enthusiasm which is so essential to any group.
I also like Felix, but it won't have done him any harm to be subbed yesterday, well done Pots.

Dunno why he was missing about with Tuchel's system at all. The issue with Tuchelball is that it was boring as p!ss, not that it was structurally broken.

But w/e, glad he's had his Ancelotti "maybe I'll ditch the diamond & just play 433" moment

Kudos to Potter, he's been getting things right of late

I like Conor: lots of enthusiasm... does give away a lot of fouls but he can grow.

Yes, get the feeling luck is not on his side and things won't work out. Hope I am wrong.

He's looked great in spells

Thought Zak was great when he first came in, shame about injury.

Thats such a cynical comment and nothing to do with the resurgence in the team in the last 3 matches.
Granted...you are not convinced...but if you like many others were criticising his tactics earlier for the losses, then its only basic fairness to credit him for the win strategies.
I don't think its fair on Potter to accuse when things going badly and not at lease credit him for the strategies of not 1 but the last three matches.
The clocks analogy is so sad to see, as if eventually we would produce the results as a matter of automation.
Best to say "Confidence not restored yet".

Twice despite my obtuse comment it's abundantly clear that Chelsea have improved dramatically in the last three games mainly due to having top players back and us playing in a better formation.

That said Potter given what players we still did have available has not made good of it... Some of his substitutions have been near diabolical, he's got a lot less chance of getting it wrong now, although he still not using zakaria enough or Madueke, and kept picking Mason Mount despite some awful form

That paragraph should have started with "Tway"

Understand your reasoning now.
Appears then that if we continue with winning consistency, it the board who should get the credit for bringing in new talented players who have significantly improved the squad.
Chelsea is currently going through a much better spell despite some awful decisions ( in your eyes Sheriff) by Potter. who deserves no credit for this potentially limited spell...
Have I got that right?

On the surface it looks like we've bought very very well... We've yet to see anywhere near the full potential of probably half a dozen players... Come to that we've yet to see the full potential of Potter at this level

Most guys on here will agree that he's made some horrendous selections Priya three victories culminating in some awful displays

You also cannot continue doing things like carrying people like Ziyech, Cucurella (in a back 4) Mount (out of form), and not using a recognised striker like Fofana who's looked decent when he's had half a chance...plus playing Havertz as a lone striker which he clearly isn't, and that's on Potter

think it was actually Conte that swithed us to a back 3 for the first time, worked well then but it really works best when we have james and chilly available. the results are coming slowly as we get more of our first team players back from injury, our midfield is looking more settled now(what a player Enzo is) but what is encouraging with the midfield is playing well but we still havent got Kante back yet then things will start to look up. Potter said he brought Connor on tactically as he wanted another ball winning midfielder on.

Yes Enzo passing fantastic and ball recovery. Better than getting Rice maybe after all
