I've tried it.
It was called Cool Boarders I think, had a very catchy ingame music list. PS1.
Real life, a bicycle is probably the limit the public would want me to stick to.
...and I've been told, a great apres ski time as well ! sounds good to me !

Better than a beach holiday any day. Done it for years, love it, prefer doing that than any other holiday. off piste free riding is more my style, but I’ll happily belt it down a smooth piste or hit the park. Apres ski is great, straight off the slope into a bar with amazing scenery. Less hangovers due to the air.
How is it for the knees though Baz ? mine ain't what they used to be,and it looks quite errrrm oooooaaah, if you know what I mean !

Can be harsh. Tbf after first day each year, the second you wake up the next day everything will be sore. No joke. You’ll use muscles you didn’t know you had. Bring plenty of ibruprophen cream. It’s a full on workout. Problem will be the poma tows for beginners, that’s harsh on your leading knee (I only ever half from binding strapped in for those) and they can be brutal. It’s an unatural angle on that knee. Skiing would be less hard on knees and all around. Holding an edge can be hard also on knees. You’ll also find you are really bad for around 3-4 days then it will click into place, and you’ll get a lot better- it’s weird like that most people I know who board say the same.
Having spoken with higher authority, she reminded me that it was skiing that buggered up my knee in the first place !
I think I will just have to console myself with watching and enjoying the event, and enjoying the apres ski afterwards !

Some hotels have outside swimming pools (heated) it’s pretty amazing to swim in a hot pool but having gigantic snowy mountain peaks surround you all around. So doubt you’ll be too bored!’
Snowboarded for over 20 years. I love it. Started too late in life so have never really done the big tricks and now I'm getting on i stay well out of the park and just cruise. My boys are learning to ski and it will be great when we can all bomb around the mountain together
I would recommend it to anyone who likes a challenge and a high speed rush. I love the mountains, the whole environment as much as I love boarding. It really is my happy place and every year i feel totally gutted that I have to wait another year to do it again.
Thanks guys for taking the trouble to reply, you never know ,we might bump into one another on the slopes one day,not literally I hope ! or apre skiing afterwards .
A triple loop ! yeah yeah big 'ed
Come on Chelsea, make amends for last year ,RM got lucky last year not this year though !
