I feel Kane's fortunes are intricately linked to whether the club back Conte and whether Conte stays.
Kane feels that given the above, Conte is the right person to guide the club to trophies.
Has his Man City opportunity passed?
Im not as convinced as most that he still wouldnt go there.
Kane dropping off Haaland would be insane for a season or 2.
Not like they dont have the funds to have both of them.
Would also be the guarantee that Kane craves for a big trophy.
United/Newcastle dont offer that guarantee.
I think Kane will be lining up for United next season.
It will be devastating to see him playing for another team, but I’d totally understand his decision.
I’d love for him to come out and commit to Spurs, but I don’t see it, and quite frankly, he’d be foolish to. We are years away from success.
We should take the £70-£80m, get a new manager in and rebuild.

I can just imagine Kane leaving then us winning a trohpy and him not
Highly unlikely but strange things happen in football.
On a serious note, I feel sorry for Kane, the only realistic option for him is Utd but I'm not sure it will happen.
He will probably be forced to stay at Spurs by Levy which reminds me of that guy from Space Jam who wanted to take Michael Jordan and chain him up at his fairground and make him play all day every day for paying customers and make huge profits out of him

Don't think Conte has anything to do with it... I think he's gone at the end of the season (at the latest) and everybody knows it) I Can't imagine any forward player enjoys playing for him, especially when it doesn't yield any trophies
Timing doesn't work for City as they'll keep Haaland for a few years yet before they flog him to Real.
Not convinced he will want to go abroad with the Prem goals record in sight. But Real won't want Kane as they have Benzema and they want Mbappe anyway.
Barca can't afford him.
Bayern probably can't afford him either.
PSG could if they sell Mbappe, but as above I don't see him going abroad.
Italian teams can't afford him.
United and Newcastle are the only teams I could see him going to, so the only question is whether Levy will sell. Chances are United will just go for Osimhen if they can't get Kane early, and I have my doubts about whether Kane would actually want Newcastle.
For me, I only see him going to United or staying at Spurs, and I don't see him doing the latter willingly. And I don't understand the logic for saying he'll stay if Conte does. I feel like the reverse is true.
I hope he stays at Spurs forever

Those who say yeah but what else would he say when asked, remember Kane is actually good at not responding to questions if he felt it wasn't in his plan. The number of questions about link to Utd and City for every season for the past 3 years at least, when he said nothing shows you he doesn't just say things.
I can't see any reason why Kane would sign a new deal, which means we should look to sell if we get £70m+
Personally if i were Kane I'd see out the contract then go to Madrid/Barca. He's 5 years younger than Benzema/Lewa and imo would get a few years as their main striker. Would also get a huge contract given he'd be free.

Levy will not sell to United or any other PL rival for that. End of.
The last player we sold to a rival was Berbatov 15 years ago. We took less money for Modric than was offered by Chelsea and both these players had no loyalty to the club and wanted gone and would have forced it.
While Kane may want to go i think he will respect his contract if made to BUT i would say that path will be eased by a timely and quality choice of manager and some quality targeted transfers.
Do not think he'll leave the country as he has a young family and wants the PL scoring record.
What will make it harder will be the sort of managerial debacle we had post-Jose. Whatever we do (re-sign Conte or new man) the planning needs to start asap as does the work on transfers - Very un-Spurs like but it needs to be a very well managed off-season and transfer window. No protracted dramas, just action!
Stick on for United imo.
They can be rinsed hardest. They just won a trophy so shouldn't be too hard to convince him they are on the road to more.
Spurs letting him see out the deal would be terrible business, they need to reinvest in that squad.
let him go for nothing and you need to spend 150m to replace him.
let him go this summer and you get 80-100m put towards that fee to replace him.
no brainer for me, if he doesnt sign a new deal by end of season you have to sell him surely

Agreed, and it makes perfect sense for United too because he would elevate their XI to a whole new level. He'd be absolutely perfect for them - his link-up play is exactly what they need and they wouldn't get that from any other available striker since Kane is one of the top 3 all-round strikers in the world (Lewandowksi and Benzema being the others).
The potential spanner in the works is Levy, because you can guarantee he won't see it this way. I can easily see him stonewalling United and Kane ending up leaving for free the year after.
He will leave on a bosman when his contract is done imo.

£150m strikers don’t want to sign for us
Osimhen isn’t joining us over other offers.
Getting big money for Kane will just mean we overpay for someone like Jonathan David.
We’re basically back in Bale territory, you can’t actually replace these players, not directly anyway, you have to spread it and hope 1 or 2 workout - Eriksen did and to a degree Lamela.
I would rather hold Kane another year and go all out for a domestic cup - winning a League cup could be enough to hold Kane for the rest of his career. If we don’t win and he goes on a free then we replace him with what we can - we have money, we just don’t spend anywhere near as much as we can.
Would like to see us go for Brennan Johnson in the summer - 21 years old - 7 goals and 2 assists in 26 games for Forest is not to be sniffed at
What argument is there for keeping him?
As soon as he knows his deal is sorted he will not be the same for Spurs for the remainder of the season.
Not sayn ghe will throw the towel in , he has too much respect for the club.
But games where he is carrying a knock or is 50/50 for playing he wont be making himself available IMO.
things like 50/50's and giving that extra 2/3% in training to make the difference will prob subconsciously be in the back of his mind.
the most important thing for Spurs is how you go about replacing him and that is far easier to do when you have 70-80m extra to play with whe doing so
