This season is effectively over for us. To stand a chance of reaching the playoffs we'd need to probably average 2 points per game to the end of the season. That's never going to happen under the current regime. What's more depressing is that the board have invested heavily in Coppinger and Schofield and I can't see them changing this for next season either.
I dream of winning a large Euromillions lottery jackpot and buying the club. Then trying to get SOD to come back. At least when his teams were losing the football they played was watchable and they tried hard.
2-0 to Salford.
I'm with you there, Nookie - I've had the same dream - not sure SOD would come back though or if he would, whether he'd still be the right man for the job.
If you look at the remaining fixtures and imagined that we had a totally opposite playing culture to that promulgated by Danny Processer, a spirit of adventure, and a desire to win we would have a good chance of actually achieving 2 points per game.
I could not agree more with all of the above. To me. Schofield has been a disaster, and I'm surprised Copps has gone along with most of it.
Under SOD, even if we lost, we played attractive football.
What is sad is that over 70 years of supporting the Rovers, these days I'm more interested in watching the Premier League rather than the Rovers even though I've paid $150+ for a season of iFollow.
On Saturday, who knows, especially as who is in goal. I'll siick my neck out again and say 1-1 with Miller scoring.
I'm also predicting 1-1 with Miller G to score.
Not so sure now - still no Anderson and a GK who has not played a senior game for a long time.....
Who knows?
Salford 2-1 Rovers
George Miller to score ⚽
Half time and 2 errors = 2 self-inflicted goals. But, whoopee, Miller has scored so several 4 points scored today.
Congratulations to Micky for getting it right last Saturday; he is forging ahead and it would be good if the team could follow his example, rather than just find new ways to lose... but there is still a 2nd half.

Based on the extended highlights how can such a disorganised bunch expect to win games against a reasonably competent League 2 side?
If they were manager-less and inexperienced you might excuse them, but they are supposed to be organised and as individuals have shown good ability on occasions. Why don’t they play more as a unit and commit to the cause?
Schofield does not inspire me and the players often don’t seem to try hard enough. Why doesn’t Copps do something about it.
Where are the directors? Can’t they see what’s happening?
I watched the game until the Salford goal and then switched to Wolves vs. Leeds. It is not just that they are not playing well, but it tends to boring and not entertaining at all. At least Wolves vs. Leeds could not be considered boring!
Donaldo's summary just about says it all. My biggest frustration is that some of the players have shown some good talent - why can't Schofield get consistency out of them? They must not believe in his "processes".
I have a conflict on Tuesday and so will not be able to watch iFollow. but with no Premier League on Saturday, I might be "forced" to watch!
