Btw-lovely touch before the game of a video of kids from St Roch’s primary school for the blind doing a signing version of you’ll never walk alone. Pretty moving.
A signing version for the blind ?!
Agree , it was a nice touch - pretty humbling
On the game
For me , starfelts pen is a joke ...yes he holds his Jersey but it impacts no part of the game . If your giving them then you need to award a foul everytime someone grabs a Jersey
As a result of this he had to give the one on CcV ...which again wasn't a pen
The sending off was ridiculous as well
Great contribution by Oh when he came on , showed what he's about
Rangers game ...I mean ...wtf is happening with VAR ?

"Poor weekend for the officials"
Becoming the norm unfortunately......VAR's impact is questionable......
3 Glasgow derby games still to play...... doesn't inspire confidence.......
What problem are you guys hallucinating for our third yesterday? Sakala looked like he may have been outside but VAR showed he was onside - just as for Motherwell's first goal it looked like the boy putting the cross in was offside but VAR showed he was on.
CT … Pretty much agree with all of that, having finally caught the game on the Sportscene so called “highlights”. You would never have guessed from those that we’d utterly dominated the goal attempts 35 to 3. Also nice impartial analysis as ever, from the 3 ex-Hvns in the studio.
Laws of the game the Starfelt one IS a pen. But shirt pulling like that happens at pretty much every single corner and free kick … and VAR rarely goes out of its way to pull up the vast majority of these. Now had 7 pens given against us … assume you know who are still sitting on zero, aye?
Rangers 3rd … Sakala is simply OFFSIDE, end of. Absolutely laughable that was allowed to stand, but yet again not surprising.
Hopefully Hatate’s injury isn’t too bad. Big miss.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Really?
The Hibs player should never have been sent off. Was probably a foul to Hibs
Sakala was offside - No debate, he's offside.
Starfelt pulling thr shirt - Pen. (at least twice in every game you'd have to give them)
Hibs sending off - First yellow, studs into Starfelt's shin. Second, booted CCV in the head.
VAR and the Ref, treat Celtic like Rangers for one game of the season, and everything blue loses its head.
We've only got another 4 pens and 4 opposition players to receive a red card, and we'll be on level terms with Rangers this season.
The rules appear to be odd. Pulling a jersey that has no impact on the outcome of a player getting the ball is a penalty.
Kicking a player in the face doesn’t even merit a foul for some.
It’s another ‘letter of the law’ penalty we’ve conceded. Some players get rules interpreted for decisions. That rarely happens for our players.
The Motherwell goal is offside. Rangers 3rd goal is offside. We’re relying on a human deciding where to position these lines-VAR still has major flaws in how it’s being used.
Hibs sending off - First yellow, studs into Starfelt's shin. Second, booted CCV in the head.

CCV deliberately lowers his head unnaturally and sticks the nut on the boy’s boot. I’ve been on the Rangers forums already this morning.

When you’re showing an angle from behind that doesn’t show you him connecting with his face then that’s an easy argument to make.
It was a booking. His second of the match and therefore a red card. It’s not relevant if he meant it or not-it’s endangering an opponent.
