I was hoping to go to this game too but wasn't meant to be unfortunately. Enjoy the game Ang, where will you be going for drinks pre match?
And happy birthday to the Scottish legend Archie Gemmil.

If he shapes himself and gets there the same time as the north-west & midlands contingents, I'd say every pub in Peterborough.

I hear on the grapevine that Archie is not into b'day celebrations.
No doubt you can empathise, Heb ?
Somebody commented that he always looked 76. I replied that we all do, and it due to the lack of vitamins.
Surely Vidal will be found at the local chippy comparing it to Zan's Fish.
Returned to Peterborough last year for a stag do and we had a blast, so if you 'lads' are hitting the pubs enjoy!

He will be at the nearest Michelin starred hostelry as he received a large tax reduction this week. Unlike the rest of us.
My elder son was named after Archie Gemmill.
I remember going to London Road on the first day of the season in 1992/3 when Arthur Cox had assembled his dream team. There was so much optimism in the air that this would be the start of the good times. After 10 minutes it was clear that the mixture of Pembridge, Kitson, Gabbiadini, Johnson etc just wasn't right. I remember it so clearly. We lost 1-0 and it was a dismal season. Then there was Hughes' debut where we chucked away a 2-goal Theo Robinson lead and Connor Doyle.... well.... let's say he failed to impress. And then 2021 when Stretton scored and we managed to concede two in injury time to lose the game.
I'm due a win there I feel.
